Too bad I can’t give zero stars. I had appointment for repair and they didn’t show and appt was cancelled, no reason. According to reviews maybe I dodged a bullet.

The company would not work with us because we wanted the repairman to wear a mask in our home during the repair.

Great place. Heater was Very helpful I called at 430 looking for a part for my dishwasher. She had 1 in stock asked to hold it as I was on my way. When I arrived. As promised she had it at the parts desk waiting for me. Will be back if I have appliance needs and parts as there isn't much appliance parts stores. Thanks again Heather

J& M appliance has been out to repair my 1 year Maytag washer 6 times. My washer has been down since April. Replaced all parts (some parts twice) and STILL DOESN'T WORK)! The last 2 times they came out the service tech recommended that the washer be replaced. J& M does not relay this to Asurion insurance but keep ordering more parts (that already replaced twice). Asurion tells me they can't replace the washer unless J&M says it is unreairable I do not recommend this company

You guy are a joke I paid 750 to change the compressor the dyed and some other things that the tech said need change 3-4 months later goes out n now your tech says it can’t be fixed

5 appointment and they still have not fixed my refrigerator. They changed the compressor twice and nothing. It now turns out it needs another part and I am still without a refrigerator. Sears warranty contracted this company and I’m getting really close to calling sears to switch the company or buy me a new refrigerator. So frustrating

Horrible Service I'm so upset I'm a mom of 4 kids and It's been over a month for them to fix my washer.the repair guy that comes Doesn't even look like his willing to check the washer probably Regret getting insurance for my washer their Service is horrible! Don't recommend at all!

Incredibly overpriced, bordering on price gauging. He didn’t know his owning pricing for the service fee. The technician did not wear a mask, nor did he offer. I would not recommend.

I booked repair for a built in microwave with J&M, I had used them before to repair the same microwave that need new repairs and small built in wine refrigerator. They came out to give an estimate for both appliances. The service guy who came out didn't remove either appliance to inspect them but he said that both appliances needed parts. He left and we were charged the inspection fees for both appliances. Both fees go towards the overall repairs. We waited 3 weeks for parts.the estimate was a bit high so I asked for a breakdown to explain. The service guy wrote in his estimate that he needed a second service guy to remove the microwave from the built-in cabinet. They had repaired it before without a second service tech. I explained that to the company but they didn't seem to care. So I told them I would have the microwave removed for the technician befor he arrived. That would save me over $100 for the second repair tech.

Once the parts arrived we scheduled the repairs. But because they're so busy, repairs were another 2 weeks out. The repair day finally arrived and the dispatcher for the company called me at the same time they were scheduled to arrive to explain the they needed to cancel and reschedule because the technician hurt his back and was sent home for the day. I had enough and canceled the entire fiasco. They did refund the service fees for the inconvenience. J&M never again. Thanks but no thanks. 2 stars because I got my refund for the clairvoyant service estimate.

I just want to say thank you for your service your technician came out with the most respectful attitude and fixed my washer better then new I don't hear a single sound nor does it leak all over the place thank you J & M! You are without out a doubt a lifesaver!

Update: I received a response from J&M (see below) letting me know that I can request a different vendor. Again, the great customer service. I would also like to acknowledge the use of the word more put in quotes, as if there really isn't more to be done. I'm assuming. I am also assuming this response is from Monique, the manager. She replied the same way to someone else who was upset with their customer service. Just solidifying my observation of the level of customer service.

I am very disappointed with the service I am receiving from J&M Appliance. I called to have a fridge repaired under my home warranty. I called on June 18, the first available appointment they had was on June 28 - just to look at it for the first time. They had to order a part. I emailed on July 7 to find the status and was told they were waiting on authorization. I called the warranty company and they sent over the authorization the next day. I received an email today (July 12) asking me to call to schedule the repair. Their next available date is July 22! 10 days for a freezer to be repaired that isn't freezing. I asked for a manger to find out why I am having to do the leg work to get the authorization and why another 10 days for the repair. I was told "I don't want to say anything rude or unprofessional". But basically I have to wait. I am so disappointed. It sounds like J&M is taking on more work than they can handle. They should think about hiring more technicians or telling the warranty companies that they can't provide the service in a timely manner. I am so disappointed in J&M. I would never recommend them and I am certainly glad this is paid for by the warranty or I would go somewhere else. Customer Service seems to be a lost art with them.

My washer stopped working and I have an extended warranty from Lowe’s. This first company they sent out was awful. They canceled my first appointment that Lowe’s scheduled and rescheduled an entire week later. When they did come out they said my washer was fixed and after washing my first load I found it wasn’t I called that company back the same day and they said there’s nothing they can do because my service ticket was closed out and I have to call Lowe’s. I called Lowe’s and they scheduled J&M to come out. J&M came out 2 days later. They kept great communication with me letting me know when the technician would be there. The technician found a long list of items that needs to be replaced. J&M emailed me a copy of everything that was found wrong with my washer and let me know that they will order it and gave me a link to track the status. I am beyond happy with the level of professionalism and service I have received from J&M.

My experience hasn’t been positive. They replaced my refrigerator door and door and now it doesn’t close properly. They said there is nothing they can do about it. They replaced my ice maker and now it doesn’t work at all. Everything under warranty. They are coming out “again” I say again because it’s about the 4th time coming out to repair my refrigerator.

I am very happy with their service. Our icemaker broke, the man came out, determined we needed a new ice maker, and ordered a new part. They scheduled the day and time for new part replacement, and I got a phone call that day saying that he was on his way. It took him 10 minutes to change it out and he showed me everything working. Very professional, high quality work. I recommend J &M to everybody thank you

We have used J&M for years. In fact our entire appliance set came from them. Until this last experience we would have gladly referred them. We had issues with our icemaker and stove and scheduled an appointment for both units. We were told what the initial service call fee was and additional trips would be half that fee. The technician arrived, did his thing, gave us the invoice and we paid half with the other half to be paid upon installation of a part. The oven had another invoice with a 0 balance which we were told was only a small charge for the light bulb. After the second visit we paid the amount due and thought that was that. Two days later I received another invoice for an additional amount. I contacted Monique (sales Manager) and was told that we had to pay a half-service charge for the oven. I tried to explain that the invoice we were shown was paid in full and this was not reasonable. Monique got very defensive and frankly rude. I paid the contested amount but was left with a bad taste. A few days later we discovered that the icemaker was not working. My wife contacted J&M and spoke with Monique. Again she immediately got defensive and rude to my wife. I find it interesting that my wife had the same results and feelings about dealing with Monique. We did get the icemaker repaired but our experience with the office Manager really soured our opinion of this company. If you do need your appliance repaired just be aware that the fee J&M quotes and you pay, may not be the final amount. Also, try to avoid Monique, she is not the type of person that should be dealing with customers.
