J & M Floor Covering Inc., Madera CA

I recently relocated to the area, I was looking into getting my flooring done, when I came across j & m flooring i was super excited to read so many positive reviews that I decided to stop by and inquire about their services. Joe was friendly and helpful. I showed him a sample of what I was looking fot and even though he didn't show me something similar I still was satisfied with what he had. We agreed on a date for him to go out to my home for a quote and properly assess what I currently had installed. Joe was on time, took the measurements and said he'd email me a quote the following day. Unfortunately he never did, I called him and left him voice-mails waiting for a call back. Not sure why he decided not to call or follow-up but I would have greatly appreciated if he had been professional and given me the courtesy of calling back to let me know of he would have not able to do the job, that way I could have kept on looking elsewhere instead of wasting my time.
I thankfully was able to find someone who took care of my floors and did an amazing job.

Joe, Juan and the J & M team were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and skilled from the beginning to end of our project. We had over 2600 square feet of tile and carpet that needed to be removed and replaced with vinyl, carpet, and new baseboards. From demo to installation, J&M always went above and beyond, and exceeded our expectations with their high quality work and integrity. Juan was great to work with and always kept me updated. Daniel and Gordo went above and beyond with the high quality work they did and their expertise. The flooring was meticulously cut to fit our curved entrance way and it all looks great. We couldn’t be more pleased with J & M and the job they did, and highly recommend them to friends and family.

Juan did a wonderful job communicating with me from the start. I was shopping around and I am glad I chose J and M to replace the carpet, put new carpet in, and also install tile in our house. They do quality work. The secretary Hilary was also very helpful in helping with the selection of carpet. All the workers that installed our carpet and tile are diligent and hard working. We are very happy with the results and highly recommend this company for your flooring needs. This is a family owned business and it is fantastic.

These guys are absolutely the best in the business! Our house is old and the existing floors were uneven and had several layers of hideousness. They tore out all the ugly, repaired the uneven concrete by grinding and floating in leveling concrete, and had the job done in a week! It was a big job that I couldn't have done by myself for sure. These guys are professionals. If you want your floor done right, and in a timely manner, I highly recommend J&M!

I highly recommend J & M Flooring.from working with Juan on my estimate and ordering the material, to working with Joe and his crew on installation. We had over 1700 sq ft of tile that needed to be removed and replaced with vinyl planks. They worked hard to keep the dust to a minimum during the demo and did everything they they could to accommodate us still living in the house while this large job was done. They communicated well with us and went above and beyond by moving furniture, reinstalling sliding door coverings, doing extra baseboards in our kitchen, etc. The floor and baseboards came out better than we hoped for. I've already recommended them to friends and family.excellent family-run business.

I highly reccommend this company! I live out of the area will be putting my Coarsegold home up for sale in the near future. There were wrinkles in the upstairs carpet due to poor installation by another carpet company and I thought that the carpet may be beyond repair. J & M Floor Covering ’s owner Joe Sr’s advice and help were invaluable!
He suggested re-stretching and then cleaning the carpet. His technician Justin expertly re-stretched the carpet in many places which removed all of the wrinkles. Joe Sr and Joe Jr then cleaned the carpet and it looks like new! I am a retired contractor myself and realize how rare it is to find a company with such integrity, work ethic and professionalism. I know that I could not have made a better choice than calling J & M Floor Covering.

The guys did a fantastic job! Great quality and farewell to nt into the install, they were ok time each day, courteous and careful about our property and communicated great on job updates as the project progressed.

He and his crew made sure they got the job done and were very communicative and professional. So glad we chose J&M to do the flooring and love the work they did as well as they flooring itself. Just when i thought there weren’t any more good flooring contractors, these guys proved me wrong. Joe and Ezekiel did a great job re-installing my laminate floors and correcting a job that was previously not done right by another flooring company. These guys spent time making it right and installed beautiful baseboards to too it off! I highly recommend J&M Flooring for all flooring needs! I will definitely use them again.

Dec. 3,2019 had water damage. That was cleared up Dec. 27,2019. For unknown reasons 6 months went by & nothing Called next in command of restoration co. Amazing! In 2 weeks time, work got done. Joe from J&M Flooring came & measured both laundry room & living room. Haus installed the laminate flooring I choice & did a beautiful job. Week later, Haus & helper arrived & installed my carpet. Excellent job, clean up done. Just maybe soon I’ll be ripping out tile from kitchen & hallways & installing laminate. Without hesitation, I will definitely use J&M Flooring to do the job. Joe is from the “old school” in which there is pride in service to customer & quality in workmanship. Again, thank you Joe & Haus for job well done!

Joe and his son Hoss were professional, timely, and customer service friendly. We had over 2,300 sq/ft of flooring and base boards replaced and they completed it over a 7 day period. Each evening they called me to let me know what the plans were for the next day, which I really appreciated. I plan on using them again next year for the bathroom tile and countertops. Thank you again.

They got the work done significantly faster then lumber liquidators estimated (3 weeks vs j&m 1 week) for a fraction of the cost. Great quality and hard workers. Worked with us rather then pushing us to do what cost most. Love that it’s a family owned business as the money goes back into our community rather then wherever corporate is located.
