Jack in the Box, Placerville CA

Arrived at 7: 40 for breakfast and the employees were JUST arriving I work had to go elsewhere for food. Always have issues at this Placerville location.

Fast and friendly service, turned into food poisoning. Food was cold possibly undercooked. Will be notifying health department

Tried for 3 days in a row to get breakfast from Drive through. Every time it's been blocked with a caution sign. Sept 28,5: 45 am, Sept 29,6: 00 am and today Sept, 30 2023 at 7: 53 am. Finally took pics and posted about it. Obvious to me that they don't want to work. I'm forced to go to another restaurant that is more dependable.

Horrible service, rude manager, unsanitary conditions, food safety issues and obvious drug use/deals between manager and civilians (looked like transients). Owner needs to shut down and reopen with all new staff and management. Never going to this establishment again!

Slowest drive through I have ever been in! Locked out so couldn't even get inside. At least the lady was very apologetic.
Update. Very fast this time and great customer service. Hope this new trend is indicative of a huge turnaround!

Standard drive thru JB experience. What ever happened to the mayo sauce on the sausage crescent?

Today after my work. I ordered grilled chicken sandwich from placerville jack in the box, And we paid.when i reach my home - it was not a grilled chicken sandwich, it was a breakfast item. Really bad service.

Same Day Update***My husband picked up Jack in the Box today on the way home from work (unbeknownst to me) and they gave him a plain fried chicken sandwich ($2.50) instead of the chicken fajita pita he ordered (almost $7). Not the first time this has happened either. We’re too far to drive and return it to get what he actually ordered. You really have to check your order while you’re still at the window otherwise you’ll end up with random or missing items.

Something strange is going on with this Jack in the Box. It’s been closed the last 4 out of 6 times I went there. I have to drive almost 30 minutes round trip to get here. The first time they said “systems were down” and then the following times they had a sign blocking the drive-thru entrance. Also, I’m not exaggerating when I say I waited over 30 minutes in the drive-thru for one cheeseburger about a month ago. People were honking in line, that’s how bad it was. When I finally got to the window, there was a young girl who glanced at me once and then completely ignored me for another 10 minutes (again, not exaggerating). There was an older woman making the food so she probably thought this girl was handling the front. She was not. Finally a young man came to the drive-thru and said, “wow, you’ve been waiting here for 30 minutes? ” I guess they can see the time on the monitor. He tried to give me some kind of discount but the woman making food said they weren’t able to give me that discount because I wasn’t a senior citizen. Absolutely bizarre behavior. Limited spots to get a burger in this part of town, so it’s incredibly unfortunate that I’m going to have to skip out on this place because of the bad experiences I’ve had.

I didn't get the name of the young man who helped me but I wanted to comment on his outstanding customer service. Good job kid!

TERRIBLE. I made the mistake of resorting to this place because I missed McDonald's breakfast by 15 minutes. I ordered in advance through the app and waited literally half an hour in the drivethrough for my food! Wasted the entire duration of my lunch just sitting 10 feet from the window. When I got it, the breakfast sandwich was extremely dry, with one single pathetically tiny folded piece of bacon and the so called ham was so thin it was literally translucent. After all that they also fogot to include any syrup for my french toast sticks. The coffee was so undrinkably sweet it was basically just syrup and ice, and all this was more expensive than mcdonalds! I paid almost 20 bucks to waste my time and have food that was so dry it couldve been believably cooked on the sidewalk outside. Maybe that's what took so long. If you're desperate or ignorant enough to choose to eat here, do yourself a favor and stick to the eggrolls and nothing else, or you'll regret it!

Why is this location always closed? Did management run off the employees? Been trying to get Jack in the box every other day for weeks and every time I come here they’re closed.

Worst Jackbox I've ever been to. Consistently slow, get orders wrong all the time, and the food is semi warm at best. Owner gives banal response to every bad review. Avoid! Oh, and their prices are higher than other JnBs too.

This place is HORRIBLE! Terrible service and even worse workers. Food was also not up to standards. 1/10!

Don't waste your time even going there they are hardly ever open I've wasted good time going there only to find out they are closed.

UPDATE: Was able to get in contact with location finally. They were actually open this time, and seems like they had been having staffing issues. I talked to the manager, and he rectified my issue immediately. I withdraw previous negative comments.

I have tried the drive through MANY times before their listed closing hours since it is on my way home from work. They used to stay open til 12 but were hardly there and now they say they are open until 10PM but are also never open when I drive through. Sometimes even before 9pm.

Took almost 20 min for the 4 cars ahead of me to get through, the bun felt and tasted old and over toasted and the chicken was barely warm

Orders messed up or in edible 98 percent of the time employees close store at any time they need to smoke dope I have pictures of all employees closing to smoke dope in their cars Very sad how this establishment is ran and all the owner can ever say is we are disappointed

It's definitely a Luke medium fast food restaurant management must not be hiring enough people but it's food so can't really complain there.
