Jack in the Box, San Diego CA

While I ranked this drive through service act star review, I would say there must be something wrong with the intercom system. The order was correct and when ready to eat, it was a good temperature. I would recommend the teriyaki chicken bowl in a combo version. Best priced, and a healthier option. I've eaten this at now two different Jack in the Box restaurants. There is a high level of consistency in this product.

I went here yesterday after not going for a long time, only to remember why I stopped going to this location. There was only one car in front of me at the drive thru and it took over 5 minutes for the person in front to START their order. I ordered curly fries and a jumbo jack cheeseburger, got the cheeseburger but regular fries. Luckily I checked the bag before I got too far away. Went back and they gave me curly fries, but the lady behind me also had the same issue. Got back to work only to find the cheeseburger was very pathetic with lettuce pieces from only the butt of the lettuce. Not planning on returning and suggest the same for everyone unless they improve greatly.

Every other day you pull up and hit you with that “we’re only taking mobile orders” at 2pm? Middle of the day they can’t staff people. Better make chicken and rice it won’t poison you

Yall need to retrain yalls night crew, when going to through the drive thru, they say it's already 4 in the morning and our machines are all closed, um hello ain't yall 24hrs they said yeah but all the machines are closed.what does that even mean. It's always the night crew always on one. Went to mira Mesa with no issues right after

Okay so hear me out, couldn't sleep last night at all so I thought you know, let me go snag some McJack in the circle. It's 4 AM they're the only place open, pull up to the drive through in motel silverado and ordered a Clucker meal and a nice double McJack Sammy. The service was good the lady was nice, but the food let me tell ya, the Clucker tasted like it was forgotten about and left in the break room for the last 24 hours, and the double jackster was very crusty and musty. The fries though. FIRE. Best part of the whole meal. Will I come back. Absolutely. Will I recommend to a friend.for sure. But maybe not at 4 in the morning.

Reliably mediocre. Only had sugar free drinks. Food was meh. Curly fries were the highlight.

Horrible service! Manager is rude unprofessional, won’t reply in English when I ask her anything. She blatantly looked at myself and another customer waiting to order and didn’t acknowledge us said would be right with you or nothing just kept going then she got upset and defensive. When I asked to see the manager she said it was her I was expecting it to be someone else, because she is so unprofessional. I understand it’s a fast food, restaurant and money will be made because people are going to eat regardless, but this Jack-in-the-Box could be making a lot more money. If you guys change management definitely Not productive, as can be horrible customer service! I would definitely be going on yelp, and I would definitely pass the word and ensure that people know what service they’re getting here if I could put no star, I would put no stars horrible experience! I was coming on my work lunch to eat here and I walked away because I wasn’t getting served. I was standing in line for about 10 minutes before I was even acknowledge because I got their attention. Therefore, I didn’t even eat appreciate it worse, Jack-in-the-Box I’ve been to.

Arrived after 6 am to find the lobby still closed. Went through the drive thru. The woman working there has an attitude. The drinks tasted funny so we had her make different ones but they tasted funny as well. It seems like the syrup/carbonated water ratio was off. So either they don't know, don't care, or are getting cheap. Corporate should close this location or replace the staff entirely.

What an awful location, every single time I have come to this location in the early morning the rude workers always say they are closed. Well, I hope they themselves are happy when they receive this review. This store need urgent intervention from a corporate partner, it disgusts me that they are allowed to carry on like this. The worker said they were closed and couldn’t do anything but when I pulled forward to leave lo am behold there was a customer in front of me receiving an order. Shame on you all who work at this location, shame on the owner of this franchise and by god shame on the spineless employees who let their manager operate this way.

Sign says it opens at 6am, they did not open at 6am. Lady gave me attitude when I questioned this. Seems they open whenever they feel like it.

September 2023 - I have already stopped here multiples times for late night eats after being out. The drive-thru is open 24 hours. The service through the drive-thru has been a little slow each time. There has always been a short line each time in the drive-thru, but the staff has been nice always asking if I can wait and apologizing for the long waits. This last time I went I got their seasonal special Monster Tacos. They're larger than most tacos, and have the flavor you'd expect from a fast food place. I had no bad experiences with this Jack in the Box, so I'll continue to come for my late night eats. Maybe I'll get a chance to come during the day so I can add to the review.

It’s Wednesday 10/11/23. I just stopped by this JB location at 4: 35 am the lady in drive through said they are closed. I didn’t think I heard her correctly so I said excuse me. She said we are closed. I said your hours say 24/7. However I’m not surprised this location frequently gives me that statement at least once or twice a week. Just horrible customer service. I’m often asked to back up once I reach the front of the drive through line just so the timer will reset so that the drive-through times don’t look so bad for the employees
Just so unprofessional poorly ran management. I’ve seen a number of complaints on this location and yet nothing ever gets done. Time to choose a new location. Good luck.

They avoided me as I stood there for over 5 minutes didn't even say just a moment! And it smelled there of sewer

Was 4th in drive-thru. Waited 20 minutes before I drove off. They took 2 orders in 20 minutes. No customers in the store, only drive-thru. Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. Worst drive-thru ever.

Just went by there at 415 this morning drove thru no one waited on me drove up to the window no one inside drove back through the drive thru told them I can see your car's in the parking lot. Manager you need to find out why you are paying these people.

Went to the drive thru to order some tacos, kept on saying hello but no one answered until one of the workers said one sec like why couldn’t they said in the first place then they proceeded to say they don’t have tacos but I understand, but she said it in a rude voice.

Manager over charged me. Crew was short handed was more worried with helping ppl in the drive so they had lower drive times. Had to raise my voice to get attention to come fix problem. My problem was fixed in the end. Employees were rude to me after this. I will never come back to this jack in the box. See my other Jack reviews to see its just this place.

Be prepared to wait 10 minutes for them to take your order. Then another 15 to get your order, I was being super nice trying to wave at them just so I can get my 2 tacos but they just looked at me n do nothing.

Came inside, waited 10 minutes for the lady to take my order. Not before she took it she was just looking at me not even a hi or ill be their in a second nothing. I place my order. Got no receipt not a thank you. She gave me my order with a bad attitude ask for sweet and sour and she just left it in the counter. Yes it was bussy but hey at least say ill be their with you. If she dont like her job i dont know what she's doing working there.
