I ordered a Solar Powered Generator through Amazon and from this company. They shipped by FedEx. Enroute there were 2 wrecks and so the unit was delayed. I contacted the seller for a REFUND. Instead they sent a 2nd unit. I asked them 3 times NOT to send a 2nd unit. Not long after they sent the 2nd unit the first arrived. I discovered the amp output was 7 and ask for a return/refund. They sent 4 return labels, 2 for the 2nd unit. I returned all 4 boxes and 2 units on Nov 1. FedEx has one box delayed until next week. The other 3 boxes and the unit I ordered arrived Nov 9, however the seller is refusing to refund until the last box of the 2nd unit arrives. That is the unit they sent without my permission. I contacted Amazon and because the seller is a 3rd party seller Amazon can't do anything for 2 weeks. I files a fraud report with my credit card.
This company is a cheat and is NOT an American based company. Please do not trust them. At one point they ever claimed they refunded my money. They have been deceitful and dishonest.

Review:
I was gifted a Jackery battery-powered generator which, unfortunately, stopped working far too quickly. Seeking help from Jackery’s customer service proved a challenge as they fixated on me producing an order number—something I obviously don’t possess as the gift recipient. To make matters worse, their team alluded to facing similar warranty cases regularly, painting a concerning picture of product reliability and customer service flexibility. Before buying anything from Jackery, be forewarned. My journey with them continues, and I’ll be posting regular updates until my concerns are addressed.

I've had the Explorer 1000 for about 2 years and have had no issues at all with it, great for camping and ball games in conjunction with my portable freezer. I just got the 2000 plus along with a SolarSaga 200W solar panel. The panel's connection for charging the unit was defective and Jackery immediately after notifying them of the problem sent me the return label for warranty, these negative reviews on here are blowing my mind.

Awful customer service>! I bought a 2000W, cit was easy to charge, charged great, went to use it and the plugs would not give out power. Returned it with them completely understanding I needed one sent back asap as I had a planned power outage in a few days- the reason I bought the thing. Over a week later it still has not shipped and they play the supervisor game. I 'can't put you on hold" it may take 10 hours for a supervisor to call you back, she is in a meeting, seriously? I wasted $3000 for nothing. They may be in California but it might as well be in the Philippines, unacceptable level of service.

I am quite shocked at some of these negative reviews. I did my research before buying my Jackary 500 and 240, along with the 60 watt solar panels. Lots of good reviews on YouTube, and I have heard from 3 locals in my area that are pleased with theirs. Yes made in China, but the company is based in Fremont, CA, so I received mine within 2 days. I really like the fact I can call them and an American will answer the phone. That is worth a few extra bucks for me. There are so many knockoffs on Amazon right now, but you will not get any customer support if you happen to get a lemon. Many of those do not feature how many Watts you are drawing, and they have inaccurate bar scales instead of percentage of power displays. That is what I have read about Bluetti from several Amazon reviews. The GoalZero brand from Yeti is great quality, but you are paying more for the brand name. I recommend Jackary products from my experience using mine all winter for power outages. Will take them camping this summer as well. One reviewer complained about their prices going up, but that is across the board with recent inflation. Jackary does often discount several older models for holiday promotions. Get on their email list to take advantage. Quality products from my experience!

Amazing product and solar panel, has changed my camping and off road experience.

I just had a problem with the inverter and the AC power. The caution sign came on and was not working. I called Jackery and told them I was near their headquarters. Patricia called me back within a few hours and set up an appointment in a few days to check out the unit.

When I showed up, they had a replacement unit waiting for me, no questions asked. Their attentiveness and customer service was greatly appreciated. Great company and great product.

Jackery is not better than Chinese companies/products has poor communications, Warranty is hard to get and PRODUCTS are not UL or ETL certified to cover the liabilities from the fire damages caused by the products.

I bought an explorer 240 unit, took it out of the box and it wouldn't charge up.no input wattage. I used the charger they provided and didn't work. To be fair I also used a Rockpal solar charger and secondary charger. I called at least a dozen times, left voice message, wrote a detailed emails, but still not reply. I understand non essential business are closed during the pandemic so I will be fair and try again on Monday.
