Jade China Restaurant reviews
16I ordered schezwan beef and what I got was mostly bell pepper…. Hmm…. No utensils and no napkins…. Not sure…. Flavor was good but all else was just not sure….
I am a “saltaholic” yet thought their food was so outrageously salty that I could t taste much of anything else. Their steamed rice was really horrid the way they prepare it. Tasted like it had fish sauce and soy sauce in it. Their noodles were ok.
If i was judging on taste alone it would be a 3. But 2 things bumped them up. Chicken breast in the chowmein! And that little bag of crunchies included. Me and son really enjoyed these. Please put more vegetables in the chow mein
Ummm hummm! The food is good! It wasn't precooked so the vegetables were crisp & fresh in my Chop Suey. The bar bq pork appetizer was pricey but it was delicious & there was plenty of it
Not good: (taste was very bland. We ordered egg drop soup, orange chicken, and chowmein and they were all missing the flavor factor. Yellow haired server was kinda weird. Don’t recommend.
Sorry but our whole dinner was awful! Mushy fried rice, chicken with vegetables had no taste. Noodles were over cooked. Even our crunchy noodles & fortune cookies were stale! I’m from the east coast where you can get really great Chinese food in most restaurants. I’m sorry I wasted my money.
Not pleased at all noodles over cooked like eating mush way to spicy tasteless only the Burning excessive spice asked for extra sprouts didn't get any. Won't be going and wasting my money.
Great delivery service! Very friendly. The food is really good too. Always get the shrimp chow mein soft noodles, cream cheese wontons. They are fast, good price and good portions. Enjoy!
Tried Jade China for the first time on April 27. We ordered egg foo young and sweet and sour pork. I want to sat that each piece of pork was large, consistent in size, and the best pork I have ever had at a Chinese restaurant. The egg foo young was good, too. We will definitely go back. Sweet Chinese lady made the effort to please.
We always patronize Jade China since it first opened by the original owners and have experienced the different changes in menu offerings, including quality of service. Today's visit (March 2022) is a bit different - we tried the Calamari, and we noticed the warmer sauce for the "appetizer" fried noodles.
Chicken Wings remain 5 stars, Sweet & Sour Pork remain 5 stars, Wonton Soup is 3 Stars because the wonton is a bit off today, Fried Calamari is 2 Stars because it is not crispy as we usually expect and receive from other Chinese restaurants. However, I am giving a total of 5 stars because of the service. The server may be a bit slow, but we can see she had her hands full, yet she is still smiling. That is huge in our score card.
We were just passing through on our way to LA and stopped here for lunch. It was really good and a surprisingly good value too. The service was great and we left fat and happy! The egg drop soup was delicious and I had Mongolian lamb, it was spicy, but not overly so and had a great flavor. I'll be back next time I'm passing through again.
Had dinner here while killing some time before bowling at Bowlero up the street. When I saw the restaurant from Afar I thought we were going to just have some quick fast service Chinese food. This place ended up being a pretty nice but small Chinese sit down restaurant. The menu was pretty standard for a Chinese restaurant and H to all our favorite dishes. We ordered the War Wonton Soup, Orange Chicken, Pad Thai, Steamed White Rice, Sizzling Beef and Scallops, and Honey Walnut Shrimp. I would say all dishes were made well but overall in Flavor I wanted a bit more pop. Everything did have a clean flavor so maybe they left put the MSG, I know some don't prefer but give me all the MSGz. The Orange chicken was super crunchy same with the honey walnut shrimp. I prefer My Chinese food sauces sweeter and I think they hold back a bit so if you are looking for a lighter flavor overall this is a good spot. Average plate price was 12 to 16. The servers were super nice but forgot to fire my Pad Thai so we ended up taking that home. Not sure if I would come back personally but I think they have a certain flavor profile that some people look for!
All good food, the salt and pepper wings are highlights, but everything was great (except the side sauces for some reason).
But there is good in the world every where. Even though people don’t think so, even though we can not see it.
There is a God in heaven
Even though we can’t see him
That God in heaven died for the sins of the world
That God in heaven is bigger then everything going on LKL
Ever since Peony’s sold in Murrieta, we have yet to find a decent Chinese food restaurant. The reviews for Jade China continue to prove to me that most people have a low standard in food. The food was not flavorful. It reminded me of an all you can eat quality of food.
Best Chinese in the area. Jalapeño chicken (not on the menu but ask for it) and green bean chicken are the best.
