I did business with this place once before when Jake ran the place and I had no problems. Jake passed away and it was taken over by new owners and is ran nothing like it was before. I was asked to wait a month and I did and then 2 months before I got my motorcycle back. I had two main things that I asked to be done and when I got the bike back only one done. You bet what I was told it would cost wasn't the final price and yep over paid for half a job and when I got on the motorcycle to ride it around I discovered loose and missing parts. So I tried to contact them and ask for the parts that was needed, each day for a week I was told they would come by and drop off the parts and each day I got an excuse of why they didn't drop it off so I my self can fix it and make it road worthy. Half the things they said they would do wasn't done and I now have to have someone else take a look at it to make sure that it was done right because I just don't trust them. Not professional, sloppy, disrespectful, they can't keep their word. Your word is everything in a business like this. I don't like being lied to or taken advantage of they did both. I got a call about the carburetor going bad and needed to be replaced. The person I got the motorcycle from told me that the carburetor was a racing one and very expensive that only a scumbag mechanic would try to tell me it was bad and give me a used one. (Who can I trust?) I get another call about the back brake rotor and something else after they had (already checked in the beginning) the bike as to give me a price for the work to be done. Either case my experience with them was like being lied too my face while they did what they wanted in a rushed sloppy job that wasn't completed. I can keep on ranting with more details but I think everyone gets the point. I wish Jake was still around he was a good guy.

Love this place. They do great work. And Jake is amazing. Highly recomend everyone to come here.

I want to thank Jake and the staff at Jake's Custom Cycles LLC for doing a great job on my bike. I took it in today at 9: 30 a.m. For the 1k service and tuner installation. The work was finished before 1pm! My bike runs so much better. Now that it's tuned properly, I can really tell how badly it was running before. I highly recommend this shop. Jake is honest and does great work at great prices. He's also very friendly and didn't mind answering all of my "newbie" questions. Lol. Thanks Jake!

Had new tires put on my 2010 street glide and a brake lever replaced. It is definitely a professional shop. All the people that work at Jake's are ex-military and I am extremely big on that. I'd have no trouble whatsoever returning with any Harley-Davidson needs

Had Jake's put in a cam, cam plate, redo the front forks, and a full service on my '13 Dyna. All I can say is WOW. My bike rips! I don't know who was more excited, Jake or myself! Super good guy, and the mechanic are great there! When it comes time for the next upgrade, or tires, service, whatever, I'll be heading to Jake's!

Best shop in Sacramento area hands down. Jake will go out of his way to make sure customers are taken care of and he is very personal and easy to approach. Do your bike a favor and take it to jakes custom cycles.

I was so impressed by just meeting Jake that I immediately scheduled a leak repair that I had been living with since I purchesed my dyna back in 2011. Did you ever look for a reason to have your bike repaired or serviced? Well that's how I felt after meeting the guys down at his shop.lol. The obvious things that you look for when taking your bike to someone for repairs are, a knowledgeable staff, customer service, fair prices and a clean shop. What I was struck by 1st.was an honest hand shake & the feeling that his customers and their concerns came 1st.
I could go on and on but my advice to anyone is to come in and find out for yourself. You won't regret it.
