Finding an honest, trustworthy mechanic is important to my peace of mind and wallet. Fortunately for us, we found Andre and his Japanese Auto Plus. We have an old Toyota and were taking it to a Toyota dealership for its check-ups. During one of these check-ups, the service department presented us with a prospective list of work that would have cost thousands of dollars, enough for us to go get a second opinion. Through a friend we got connected to Japanese Auto Plus and Andre, the owner, talked us through which items were necessary and which were upselling or could be deferred. That bit of honesty of was the first indication that we had discovered a potential keeper in Japanese Auto Plus. It got better. The tire pressure gauge on the dashboard started staying on even after I refilled the tires. I brought the car to Japanese Auto Plus and Andre said the sensors in two of the tires were not working and that it would be cheaper for me to get them replaced at a Costco tire center because he would be more expensive. Another example of doing what's right by the customer, even if at their expense. Lastly and most recently, we started having electrical issues with our brake lights not working and the airbag and brake light warning lights coming on in the dashboard. We brought the car in again and it turned out that the windshield replacement we had done a year earlier by an auto glass company that came to our house was done poorly and water had been leaking behind our glove box and created electrical damage. Japanese Auto Plus got the windshield seal fixed and replaced the damaged relay and other electrical components for a price that was less than what Toyota would have charged just to diagnose the issue. I value not having to question whether I am being taken advantage of and appreciate having a mechanic I can trust and who cares enough to do quality work. More than happy to recommend Andre and his Japanese Auto Plus business.

Breaks! Thought I had a bad master cylinder and was quoted $501 parts and labor. Got a text message that I didn’t need it, just bleed them and inspected. $130 out the door.
Great service I will remember this. Feel like I found honest folks

There’s a new owenership since 2020 so if you’re like me and have been coming here around 2015-2019 don’t expect the same experience. After all these years there’s now been issues with this shop under the new ownership.

I paid for a head-gasket repair in September 2022 as of now that job was done correctly BUT. I also went back in October 20222 to get shocks and an alignment, a lot of miscommunication! I‘ve taken my car back three time and now this upcoming week will be the forth time, such a waste of time.
They didn’t do the $120 alignment with my new shocks at first they kept saying they did it when I knew forsure they didn’t but FINALLY the owner told the mechanic to do the assignment which fixed the issue slightly and then I went back the third time bc I don’t think the alignment was done correctly still but then they tried to blame it on my tires when they’re still like new.come to find out it wasn’t my tires like I already knew. So like I said I won’t trust this shop as much as we could’ve trust with the previous owner! Also when they put the shocks on I had a spacer which I said not to put on my 4Runner after the new shocks but they did anyways so then I had to wait another 2 hours while they took a lunch break to remove the spacers when I said to never put them back on, I wanted to remove the spacers which is why I got the brand of shocks that I purchased! This shop doesn’t really listen like previously, I miss the old owner/management.

Long story short the new management/shop going forward seems to think you’re ignorant or something because I know my 4Runner and I’m not naive even though I’m a female. I’m aware of 4Runners so don’t try to play with my knowledge please very unprofessional now I gotta go back for the 4th time for them to recheck my alignment has is way too high to be coming and coming to a shop for the same issue.

This shop isn’t how it used to be so this is a heads up when you go!

This place has 5 stars for a reason. Andrei and his team are 100% legit. They will not sell you something you don’t need, and for that - as well as the quality of work ; and the treasonable pricing ; this is the best mechanic I’ve l been too and I highly recommend you go here.

I brought my 1999 Honda Prelude into this shop after being turned down by various other mechanics who refused to work on it. Andre and his staff were very courteous and honest about what needed to be fixed on the vehicle. The prices on the repairs are a bit on the higher end but you can trust that these guys can fix your car ASAP. I returned to them about 5 times with the same car and they never failed to get it up and running. Will definitely return in the future and I recommend them to anyone who wants a reliable mechanic.

These guys are great and very honest. The services and repairs are quality work where I immediately notice the changes. They are also very honest and do not force or push repairs. If a repair is not needed they don't hesitate to tell me and save me money where possible. Definitely my go-to spot for my car.

Had a pleasant experience at Japanese auto. Good customer service, very nice trustworthy people are working there. Got my car fully diagnosed, mechanics gave me clear insights on what can be done.

I highly recommend this place for any of your problems on a vehicle! Work they do is amazing and the amount of time they get it done is unmatched. They replaced a head gasket on my turbo Mazda speed and had the car back to me in two days! This is the only place that will ever work on my cars

I actually bought my car here (salvaged and repaired by Japanese Auto Plus). When I took the car to get inspected by another mechanic shop before purchasing, they said that the car was in fantastic condition despite being salved, and that among mechanics in the area Japanese Auto Plus is known to be highly reputable.

When I bought the car they were very kind, clear, and answered all of my questions fully (I probably asked too many questions). They checked up on the car and made sure it was in tip top shape before I left.

I will be taking my car here every time it needs a service or check up.

The mechanics here are extremely knowledgeable and honest. I feel safe bringing my Cadillac here, and they often go above and beyond what is expected, for an affordable price. Forget the dealership, this is the spot.

Brought my civic here after going through hell with the dealership and these guys fixed it no problem. Very knowledgeable, honest, and helpful guys. I found my go to shop. Car troubles are stressful enough so it’s a relief finding a new shop and they are actually honest and want to help instead of just profit off of you. Will most definitely be here in the future with any car troubles I encounter!

I took my Lexus ISF in to have some brake work done. Fearing I was going to have to replace my calipers, they were able to repair mine and save me a ton of money. Honest, quick, and thorough. I will be using them again.

These guys are incredible! I have an older Toyota Van that is very difficult to find parts for, not only were they able to find parts but they also used a great deal of ingenuity to fix things that they could not find the replacement parts for. Best of all they came in under their original quote. They will keep you informed the whole time. These are guys you can trust with your vehicle and your wallet. Scam Shop. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I believe the ownership or management was changed in 2020 and it has gone downhill ever since. If your reading this you've been warned. Reply: You didnt fix the car. You charged half price and it came out the same condition it went in.
