Jaru House, Palmdale CA

The food is amazing, love the sushi especially. But the lady handing out the food is really rude and unwelcoming

I love going to eat here it's great food I drive 3hrs just to go eat there I and my family enjoy it alot always get double jalapeño chkn and chow mein with banana smoothie

Most of what we ordered was pretty good but the chicken egg rolls were a bit greasy, not like the first time I was there when they were great.

We have ordered from Jaru House in the past and LOVED it, but today, when I called to place an order, I was disappointed. One of the things we really enjoy from there is the Jaru Bowl. The menu on the Jaru House website and on Grubhub both list the Jaru Bowl as coming with 1 Chinese Entree, 1Sushi Entree & 1 Side, just as we have ordered it through Grubhub and received it in the past. When I tried to order it over the phone today, I was told that it does not contain a sushi entree, that to get all three, I would have to order a Jaru Combo J-3, which is $6.60 more. I was also told that the Jaru bowl never included a sushi entree and that I never received that order. When I pointed out that I was reading it directly from our previous Grubhub order and the Jaru House website, I was told they never filled that order and the website is wrong. When I persisted, the person on the phone asked a manager who also said I was wrong and refused to place the order as listed. I called with a $50+ order, that did not get placed, because Jaru House refused to honor the menu posted on their website. The same menu that was honored and filled through Grubhub in the past.

I can place the order through Grubhub with the options I have received before, but they add $1.00 per item, which is not cost effective when I pay no upcharge for pickup when I order direct. This is bad business. Even if the website and Grubhub are misrepresenting the menu, it should be honored until it is corrected.

They have really let this place go it looks super unclean the person handing out the food doesn’t wear gloves and she wears rings and her hand touches the food. I was already ordering wish I would have just said no thanks and walked away.

Certainly a place worth trying, the food is excellent and well prepared, the rates are fair and it is consistently well organized in here. Kudos.

I like that the menu has variety but some of the dishes are lacking in freshness and quality.

The lady there tried yelling at me bc i told her i wanted noodles and she is rude and very hard to understand

I do uber eats and this place gets a lot of business so I had to try it today and it's so good! Super delicious!
