Jasmine Chinese Food To Go, San Leandro CA

My son found a metal piece of their cleaning tools in his eggroll. And there was no manager. They tried to fight me about getting our money back.

I've been going to Jasmines for at least 25 years now, and the food is still very good, and reasonably priced. There's no dining in, but besides that, you'll be happy you tried it. Everything is good, seasoned well, and nice sized portions too. Give them a try. You'll be back.

The food was good and tasty, but tricky customer service. They want me to look out the window at the sunset to see how beautiful it was outside while she put my food on the plate; so she can give me less food on the plate? Why would anyone do this? Also, they did not give me an itemized receipt from the cash register, so I don’t know if they charged me correctly. When asked about it, the lady on the cash register said she charged me correctly; I don’t trust her. She only gave credit card receipt. They really need to work on their customer service. I don’t think I would return after being deceived and I don’t like the way they do business.

Last week I went in to try Jasmines. I hadn't eaten it in close to 23 ish years because of some stuff I read in the little weekly San Leandro paper years ago.

I went in and ordered a combo meal and a few sides. One thing I ordered was 2 egg rolls. I spent about $30 on food including a tip.

When I got to my car with my bag of food I reached in to eat an egg roll. Some thing I usually do when driving home from picking up Chinese food. My egg rolls were not in bag. I quickly returned to jasmines to enquire about my missing items.

The lady said she didn't add them into my order even though I asked for them? Ok so can I just buy the two forgotten egg rolls?

The lady pointed to a sign that said $5 minimum. She literally told me to buy 4 for the minimum. Lady if you had just gotten my order correct also I already spent way over $5 including a $5 tip there literally a few moments ago.

Never going back to Jasmines.

I happened to go there all the time I'm just tired of their bad attitude. I'm just going to throw it out there maybe they don't like black people

Great price and hole in the wall food! The best BBQ pork chow men and they do party trays too!
Wonton soup is ok but maybe I will get it with ca siu next time.
Pot stickers were not bad but the spring roll wasn't as much meat as I would like. But I still like it.
Hunan chicken was too sweet. Would like to try the sweet sour pork next time.
Noodles are my top favorite!

They literally added their own tip! I got the bank statement after I left and they added a 10$ tip for themselves. Be careful with this place. It was $10 this time could be $100 next time.

Quick Chinese the togo. Potstickers and egg rolls are awesome. Love their bbq pork which usually is gone by afternoon. Generous portion and food/taste is pretty consistent. I think since they change owner again the pot sticker gotten smaller and $1 each. Egg rolls still good. Chowfun cost $1 more if you select it with your entry. Latest update. Owner changed recently. Not the same. Reduce rating.

The food is delicious try the potstickers they are the best in the bay, the service is awesome love them ladies, I wish I lived closer I would stop by at least once a week

This place is the best place to go for some authentic chinese food I grew up with this place my family would always come for dinner best spot hands down, now we come from Lathrop just to get some

Quality Take out food, fast and easy at a fair price! BEST FRIED FISH, made fresh in a few minutes, a must for Great Fish!
Pot Stickers & Egg Rolls,!

The food is very good there are couple Chinese ladies they are very unfriendly and when they there the service suck I have been going there for a long time they ought to know me by now and still treat me like a stranger and lack of appreciation I'll from them. So I finally found a good Chinese restaurant that really appreciate the customers very friendly and the know me by name. Is something the other restaurant need to learn if you want to run a business.

This place has really good buffet style food. I've been eating here for about 15 years and don't take to Chinese food easily. This is among some of the best that I've had and will go here, before most other places because of the freshness of the food, or nowhere.

Had the war won ton soup. Chicken chowmain, rice and dry fried ribs and it had me so sick.my husband and I now have food poison so bad. NEVER EVER AGAIN!

I’d rate it a little below 3 if I could. The 4.2 was a little bit of an inflated rating based off my experience just now. The rice and chow mein were very bland, the orange chicken was very sweet and less chicken then orange glaze. It was also mostly the breading. The bbq pork was also very sweet, like too much brown sugar. Finally the pork egg rolls while tasting decent had that smell good gets when it’s going bad and this was a “freshly made” one that just came from the kitchen. The portions were quite good, I’ll give them that but not exactly worth the price. Overall it was ok but it leaves a pain in your stomach not too long after eating or maybe that was just my luck. Either way there are way better options out there for the same price and even less.

Didn't really care for this place the food was kind of bland didn't have flavor to anything
