Prior to them Diagnosing me with Prostate Cancer they provided no information on biopsy prep, don't return phone calls. After diagnosis, they don't call, follow up, even when I call them and they say they will get back to me, they do not. Go anywhere but here if you want an office who cares or knows what they are doing.

This doctor is the best Urologist in San Diego County. Hands down.
Hes gotten me every kind of tests and X-rays that I needed for my enlarged prostate over the years.

On Jan. 29,2021 Dr. Phillips removed a tumor from my right Kidney, From the start Dr. Phillips described the entire procedure and put my mind at ease. Every thing went just as He said.
On Sat. Feb. 6th I went for the results and have the drain tube removed.the tumor was a clear cell carcinoma, he assured me they got it all and no further treatment would be needed.
I just want to say what wonderful treatment I got through out this surgery, the kindness and support could not have been better,
The robot surgery system was something I only heard of before, but it turns out Dr. Phillips is an expert at this and it should be used more often as my recovery has been without any problems.

Dr. Phillips took great care of my disabled brother when he had kidney stones. We couldn't have asked for a more caring and professional health provider. My brother appreciated how comfortable the doctor made him feel while he explained the procedure. That gave my brother lots of confidence in Dr. Phillips's ability for a successful outcome. We have seen Dr. Phillips for other urology concerns and recommend him highly. Going to see Dr. P is an enjoyable experience for my brother as well because they both appreciate each others sense of humor. Thank you Dr. Phillips for all you've done to to keep my brother as healthy as he can be.

Dr. Phillips is a very kind and understanding doctor. He actually listens to your issues and tries his best to resolve the day of the appointment. He's been treating my husband for many many years and has solved each medical issue promptly. Dr. Phillips is very confident, caring and compassionate and that is the main reason we continue to keep him as our doctor. His office staff is always helpful and kind and willing to work with you in every aspect. I give him 6 stars out of 5 stars. So if you're looking for a doctor that is not all tied up in paperwork and buries his head in the computer while you are talking, Dr. Phillips is right for you and your family. He listens to his patients very well. Highly recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Phillips is an excellent Urologist and has been instrumental in making sure my health is where it needs to be. I had to be seen by Dr. Phillips a few years ago and needed to be seen again recently. I made sure my insurance referred me back to him. I wouldn't recommend anyone else for his specialty. Great personality and always willing to take the time to answer all of my questions. Could not be happier with having him as my Dr.

Dr. Phillips met or exceeded all my expectations of my visit and my surgery. His practice was willing to walk through the door to give me extra service and make me feel special. I had the surgery one day slight discomfort that day completely and ready to resume my normal activities. His follow up calls by his office made me feel as if I were a special patient but I realize this happens for all his patients I would recommend this surgery to anyone who is a candidate for it.

Dr Phillips is a great listener. We had very frank discussions on two areas of attention. Together we have developed a plan going forward. I’m in my seventies and have been to s number of urologists throughout my life, all of them well mannered and skilled, however, Dr Phillips is a step above all of them, overall.

Dr. Phillips is an incredible urologist. He has performed the Urolift procedure on me which greatly enhanced my life. Additionally, Dr. Phillips has helped me enormously with my chronic kidney stone condition. Not only has he taken great care of my health, but he also has great passion for his work. I highly recommend becoming his patient!

Dr. Phillips is definitely a 5 star. He is a profesional, kind, knowledgeable and well spoken doctor. He did an emergency stone removal. I had a follow up at his clinic to get my sten removed a week follow up.

The secretary who answered my call to schedule an appointment seemed very annoyed to speak to me. I did not take it personal since I could of just been over reacting. However, once I arrived for my appointment the same person was very rude and treated other patients differently. She would change her character to very sweet and outgoing towards other patients.

I did not say anything. I just needed my stent removed. The nurse that assisted me was very nice, professional young lady. Dr. Phillips was not in office so Dr. Aaron assisted me. I do not recall his name. He informed me that the secretarys would schedule an ultrasound to make sure that everything was looking right.

I NEVER GOT A CALL! I went in on July and it is now October. I called to ask what was going on and left a voice-mail. I recieved a call informing me that they did not take my insurance however they were waiting for a response from my insurance. The secretary said she would call me back the next day to follow up. Again, she never called back. No follow up.

Dr. Phillips you are an amazing doctor but you need a different front office staff. Based on reviews I am not the only one who complained about customer service.

Relaxing atmosphere, important when you are dealing with a “Sensitive Area” shall we say. Nice people and they made me feel comfortable. Too much initial paperwork but things have changed. Little wait time. The Doctor listened, was attentive, and explained my options. Totally unlike my past urologists. I highly recommend this practice. Thanks

Dr. Phillips it's a great surgeon very thorough and answered all my questions I would recommend him to anyone experiencing Urology challenges. He's in a new office with very helpful and kind staff members

Dr. Phillips has been my urology doctor for several years. As a retired professor and a senior executive in a major billion $ company, I find Dr Phillips to be extremely professional in his knowledge and his experience. He has the highest of integrity, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. His follow up is amazing and his availability in an emergency is excellent

Dr Phillips is a smart, kind, innovative and down to earth physician. He has been my physician for 6 plus years! He listens to the patients needs and is commented to finding solutions to everyday and not so everyday medical issues. Having lupus plus multiple other autoimmune diseases makes my case complex. Dr Phillips is committed and has resolved all my urological issues. We continue to maintain keeping a lot of my medical issues at bay. He works with my other doctors well, to give me the utmost care. You can not find a better urologist. You will not be disappointed in his care or his commitment

Dr. Phillips got me out of one of the most painful conditions I have ever been in. He was considerate and thoughtful and took my feelings into account. He gave me plenty of information and kept me informed going into my procedure and after. His staff were attentive and helpful, and provided an important part of my care. His follow-up plan has me confident I will avoid a recurrence. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

I really appreciate the fact that Angela contacted me and apologized. I know it is a difficult time for everyone and the fact that they would reach out to me to discuss the issue means a lot. I have revised my review because of that. I believe that only a caring doctor and a caring office manager would make the effort to reach out and see what the issue was and how they could resolve it. I don't know how the doctor is but the people who schedule are terrible. They don't appear to care which is indicative of an uncaring doctor. I'm looking elsewhere.

I don't know what to say first about Dr. Jason Phillips.
He is the most kind and thoughtful person you'd want to meet and he is very good at his job.
I'd seen Dr. Phillips at first for a UTI infection earlier this year and we talked about my prostate as a probable cause of my UTI. UROLIFT was our first thought to help with the problem but we would wait until July so I could think about it.
As July approached I got another UTI that was so severe it caused acute kidney failure. Dr. Phillips came and saw me at the hospital and we talked about UROLIFT and TURP which we decided was a better choice for me. He somehow got a surgery room on short notice at Tricity Hospital for two days later and did the TURP in about an hour.
After six days in the Hospital (Tricity is very good) and a 30 day recovery which was completely painless
I'm happy to say everything is better than it's been in years.
I would recommend Dr. Phillips and his great staff to anyone; thank you Dr. Phillips!
