Mexican Restaurant Javier's reviews
20Heard a lot about this place, so I decided to give it a try. The ambiance is beautiful, and the service is friendly. Overall, I enjoyed myself there. For drink, I got a tamarin margarita mocktail that was so delicious! It was definitely the best part of my meal. For food I started with he guac which I felt was rather bland, just tastes like plain avocado with not added Ins. My main dish I got the Trio enchiladas, which was just ok.
They always accept walk in customers and waiting time is not too long, the food is good and drinks are great, if you plan to spend your day in the mall it’s a perfect place for dining.
Updated review: Javier’s has lost it. They have changed their chips (to a much poorer quality chip that tastes like a cheap Frito), added lots of oil to their fajitas, and the service isn’t what it used to be. I can only assume I’m not the only one who thinks this as you used to never be able to find a table before 10: 30 PM on a Friday or Saturday, and now you can get a 7 PM table on a Friday or Saturday even when trying to book at 6 PM. Oh well… not sure why you’d change a winning formula.
Original review (5 stars) : Love Javier’s. I have eaten at this location dozens of times and the experience is consistently great (and other locations too!). Food is high quality, very nice staff, awesome music and ambience. Wouldn’t change a thing
Unreal service. We sat at the bar and the bartenders didn’t stop moving for a second - they didn’t miss a thing! We were very well taken care of. Food is also 10/10.
You can’t go wrong with this place. The staff is super friendly. The drinks are fantastic.
I have tried almost everything on the menus.
The tomahawk pork chop is fire. The Cabo azul is crazy delicious. The chips and salsa is so good. Even the seafood pasta dishe is very good. The Chile verde is on point. Just everything is good in its own way.
Love the jalapeño, pineapple, Organica, Tamarindo, cucumber margaritas.
Customer service was horrible, unprofessionalManager told me he was too busy to address my concerns. He said “I’m busy” and walked off
It was my first time going here with my partner. The food was really yummy and the restaurant is beautiful. They played good music but overall it was an okay experience. The Hostess was really rude to me and my partner which was so disappointing. I never leave reviews but she made me uncomfortable.
The decore was intentional and beautiful. The food was soul. The staff was attentive and considerate.
It’s not my first choice for Mexican cuisine but it’s still delicious. The atmosphere and customer service is great. I had the filet mignon and it did not disappoint.
Food was really good. However everything is on the pricey side. Servings are large though for the lunch specials and easily enough for me
Ernesto is a great, friendly manager and is super nice when i come in.javiers lucky to have him.
Our the front desk / hostess didn't bother looking for our misplaced credit card and failed to return the call to inform us that they even bothered looking for it. Otherwise, the food was fabulous and the service fabulous. This CC follow up left bad taste in our mouths after the generous tip that was offered.
Went there for my birthday and I loved it. Tyr food was good and the drinks was amazing. The setting was nice and intimate. I love it we definitely go again! Me and my had a good time
Wow! Amazing food, atmosphere, and service! Top notch place. Cabo Azul is great. La Tablita is bomb! The Sea Bass is the best I've had. And the rib eye is amazing!
This place didn't disappoint, great food, service and atmosphere. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Well worth it!
This location in century city is surely not understaff, but it is untrained. I had to request for a server twice. I had to raise my hand multiple times just to get water. Spent over $500 and it’s ridiculous the poor Service this restaurant has.
Wonderful cocktail experience, very extensive tequila menu. A lot of interesting variations on the menu
Pretty nice atmosphere but music was a little bit too loud. Food was average. Noticed that in this place you pay for the athmosphere, not food.
Very fine upscale Mexican restaurant. Food drinks and service are outstanding. This is just not any “other” Mexican restaurant. The prices might be a bit steep but you get what you pay for. The atmosphere creation is maybe one of the more successful even though it might tend into the overdone or a set of Zorro in the 1950s, it is worth the experience 100%.
The prices are high due to the use of noble ingredients and is what makes it special. Try the more exotic choices and you will not be disappointed.
Very nice atmosphere
The food is outstanding & the services were spot on. Beautiful restaurant for a date
