I had visited every jewelry store in Lompoc and needed to get some rings engraved. The rings were too small for anyone in Lompoc to engrave. I did some research before driving all the way to Santa Maria and discovered that this shop had excellent ratings and could laser engrave rings.

Brian completed my rings quickly. He was really courteous and professional, and before giving the rings back to me, he even gave them a free cleaning. I heartily recommend JB's for any engraving needs because he did an excellent job.

He was the only jeweler to help me in the same day for a ring resize. And my ring now fits perfect and I didn’t have wait wait weeks to get it back!

They repair jewelry themselves. They don’t send it out, so there is no wait. They repaired four items while I waited less than a half an hour.

Run to this jeweler! I went in to get a silver ring resized. They did it Fast and Affordable! I went to soo many other jewelry shops in Santa Maria that only send out for repairs! They do it in house! With their own hands! This is important when you have question about how it will be done and feeling like they will take care of an item that is valuable to you. The selection of jewelry in store was great as well! You didn’t feel like another number, or a person trying to sell you a payment plan. I think I found my go to for all my jewelry needs! Super friendly, Zero pressure, not intimidating!

I would give it one star, but they did buy and ask if the amount I was going to get for my silver was ok. I did agree to sell. But they paid way less than what it was worth. Spot was 25+ they gave me 15. It would have been nice to get 20 per ounce of silver considering spot was at 25+ at the time. They were polite, and the store looked nice. But be careful going to them.

Call to ask if they would look at some jewelry and appraise it. They said they would and that was just a lie. They will let you know what type of metal you have (they don't care about gems or design) and then will offer about 50% of its melt value. Will not go back here again.
