Jorge and his crew were on time, respectable and friendly. The trimming of my 4 cypress trees, removing dead branches and trimming my ornamental pear and other trees were done in a professional way. They cleaned and hauled away the mess. Jorge and his crew were a pleasure to work with.

Jorge helped install these lights hanging on a tree out of reach with the help of his tree climber Sammy. It was a tricky job but he navigated it well. He also trimmed the tree. They were very helpful and patient and attentive to details.

John is very knowledgable and experienced with trees. He is a very pleasant person to deal with and gets right to work when he arrives and doesn't spare any effort to get the job done right. I can highly recommend him. He is serious about his work, knows exactly what to do and is very kind and friendly in the process.

We used the JD Tree Service to remove an overgrown vine along our block wall. The vine was massive and even growing onto the adjacent properties. They did a great job and hauled away all the debris. The job was fairly priced. I would recommend them.

On a raining Sunday morning Jorge came out within 15 minutes of my request for service!

I had a tree fall, partially blocking the driveway. Jorge quickly assessed and removed the trees within two hours of my request!

JD was prompt and professional. He was able to come out and confirm a quote at a time that worked for us and was an excellent price for the need (transplanting a mulberry tree). JD initially told us it would be about a week before he could come out but much to our pleasure, he moved some things around and was able to perform services much sooner.

We would highly recommend him and will definitely use him in the future for our tree needs.

Jorge and his team are incredibly reliable, fairly priced, and do excellent work. I've never met another contractor who is so consistently EARLY for appointments, whether that be to provide a free quote or to do the job that has already been agreed upon.

We have used him for 2 years of seasonal winter trimming of the numerous trees on our property and will be having him over again this upcoming January for annual maintenance.

Jorge is such an honest human being, the first time we hired him he had to return a second day to finish the job, I had already cut the check the first day and he refused to accept any payment until the job was finished and we were happy. Go find another contractor, of any kind, that has this level of integrity.

JD Tree Service did a great job on my backyard. They cleared out lots of old weeds and trimmed down a tree. They were very efficient with the work.

Needed tree trimmed back, dead leaves cleaned from flat roof drain hole, and dead leaves and junk from side and back yard. Two guys got yard and roof cleaned out fast and neatly, they work quickly and quietly, I highly recommend.

Jorge and his workers did a magnificent job trimming 2 palm trees, pruning a large loquat tree, and removing 2 large bird of paradise trees. Unlike other tree companies that tend to schedule their jobs with tight time completion margins, Jorge allotted extra time for the job to ensure that everything would be completed to perfection and to deal with any unanticipated issues.

We did have an unanticipated issue when one of his workers accidentally damaged an irrigation sprinkler pipe while digging out a tree root. The pipe was not installed deep enough into the ground so it was totally not the worker’s fault. Jorge not only repaired the pipe but also troubleshooted several sprinklers that were not working properly and even gave me some tips on installing a drip system.

In the end, everything turned out beautifully and the clean up was meticulous.

I’m glad I hired Jorge and was completely satisfied with his services. He is honest, respectful, easy to communicate with, and has integrity. It’s obvious he truly cares about his customers and workers. His prices are also very reasonable. Unlike the bigger tree service companies, he is an owner-operator who gives his customers personalized attention and makes sure they are completely satisfied with his work.

I had a good feeling about Jorge from the get go as he was so easy to work with. Prompt, hardworking, and humble, he educated me about the health of my trees and helped me with tips for future maintenance and care. He delivered on every thing he said! JD Tree Service provided excellent trimming. He listened to our needs and city requirements. I provided the free city permit to cut parkway trees. I recommend JD Tree Service over any other "butchery" service that just wants to over charge for balding your trees.

I had a problem Chinese Elm tree that had started to drop large branches. After calling a few other tree specialists in the area, Jorge visited to take a look at the tree and provided me with a reasonable quote. He spent the time to explain what the tree needed his process. He showed me examples of another Chinese Elm he had worked on and it looked great. He seemed genuine and interested in helping get the tree into a good shape. Knowing little about trees, I asked a lot of questions and he patiently answered all of them. We decided to go with his team and he scheduled us within a few days and arrived promptly at the scheduled time. We ended up having them trim two trees and they both came out great and looked just as good as the pictures he showed me of his previous work. All the trimmings we're cleaned up and cleared out without issues. Highly recommend JD Tree Service. I will gladly use their services again in the near future.
