Such a nice place to walk. I do it regularly at Sunrise. Absolutely beautiful, friendly people and their dogs. A local treasure.

If you're a germaphobe, don't come here for the bathrooms. Family and I dropped by after Richmond and the Richmond Bridge which seems to always have traffic on the weekends. The bathroom was extremely dirty and it seems whoever is in charge of clean it on a monthly basis! So disgusting.

ADA accessible trail that has gorgeous views of the bay, Richmond Bridge, Mt. Tam, and East Bay hills. The trail is flat and fully paved, so it's good for bikers and people who want an easy, scenic walk. There aren't very many places to picnic or sit, and the entrance is really hard to find if you try to Google or use Waze. The City of San Rafael website needs to offer a better map of how to access the trail. Great place for taking in views and native wildlife. There aren't any play structures, so young kids might be disappointed if they're expecting the amenities of a neighborhood park. There was a porta potty there, but I didn't check to see if it's open. Wonderful, chill place to go for a walk or just relax with the views.

What a great hidden spot! I never knew this trail was here and love how close to the water and nature you are. Super convenient parking

Infrequently travel with my dog. Between Marin and Richmond and it's a great place to stop for the dog to run a bit f

I was actually at The Marin Rod and Gun Club, which has the same shoreline. As we call it at the club, it is a $5 million view!
