Jeff Speakman's Kenpo 5.0 Riverside

Signed up my 8 year old son first time doing karate. I recommond and this location 100 out of 100 times. They teach not only karate but also life lessons for all ages.

My son has been going here for 6 months now and he really enjoys it. Mr. Grilli is great in teaching structure, focus, and discipline while still making it enjoyable for the kids. Also they have lots of fun activities like Parents night out where you drop the kids off for a fun night of dodgeball.

I absolutely recommend JSK. Mr. Grilli and the staff teach Kenpo by using ESP (Explain, Show, Practice) which helps establish good habits. Since my son, Mateo, became a student at JSK he has become more responsible and has learned more than just martial art skills.

My son Adam has been in kenpo karate for 2 years and since then has joined muy Thai, Jiu-Jitsu and the Alpha team. Mr. Grilli has taught my son the tools needed to defend himself and with that he has build more confidence and self esteem. I highly recommend JSK Riverside 5.0!

We started in November 2022 and already our son has learned so much. We joined to have an activity for homeschool PE, along with learned discipline and self defense. He LOVES it. All the teachers work really well with the kids. I love the way they push them. It's just what my son needs. I recommend for any student, but especially for homeschoolers. It's so great for them to have to listen to another teacher.

We’ve been a part of katate lessons in this location for a few month’s already. My seven year old has been progressively learning, I have also noticed more discipline from him not only in karate but also at home and in school. We’re hoping to be a part of this team for the years to come.

I am very pleased with this place, they do not just teach the youth how to do Karate but about Morals, Values, and Respect. The instructors are all very helpful and the place has more of a family feel than a business Micheal and Angela are awesome! Highly recommend coming here!
