Jesse's Pizza, California City CA

We stopped coming here early 2023. All the other employees here were nice. The women who worked here-nice. Most of the men-nice. But one man acted very strangely here. He kept commenting on the way my father and I were dressed, as though we were over-dressing. I was only wearing a twenty-dollar jacket! Honestly, the big dude with the beard came across as being insecure and just.strange. I believe he was jealous and suffers from severe self-esteem issues and psychological problems. I haven't returned in 9 months. Now I hear people have found hair in their pizza. Sounds exactly like something this dude would deliberately do, the strange vibe he exuded to my father and myself. STEER CLEAR OF JESSE'S PIZZA. They need to be reported for sanitation violations.

The last 3 times I have ordered/paid for the Chicken alfedo pasta, there has been no chicken. I pay for the chicken and extra, and always tip to the extra. Starting to think about trying anything else for delivery

Been ordering from here since I been visiting. I think this place has the best pizza in town, not that there are many options but when deciding, I usually go with this place. My kids and husband like the Pastrami Pizza. We get Barbecue Sauce instead of regular pizza sauce and they usually do a good job. Sometimes they do burn your pizza so check it before you leave. The ribs tips don’t last 10 minutes once we get them home and the portions are not always the same. I swear we got a half order a few times we ordered them. They aren’t the cheapest place either. You’ll spend $40-$70 depending on how big your family is so if you want to budget this isn’t the place. Overall, I would say try it. Im a picky eater and a return customer. Hope you enjoy.

I don’t recommend. There was hair all in the pizza. One of the employees was scratching his chest then continued to touch the pizza. Another employee ate pizza while packing another pizza.

Delivery guy must have dropped my pizza. Everything slid to one side of box. Just a blob of crust, cheese, and toppings now. Tried to call to complain about my negative product, was on hold for ten minutes

The chicken wings tasted old, dry, and had an odd smell. They went straight to the trash. The pizza was ok but if that is their idea of double cheese then I guess normal cheese is close to nothing. Customer service was mediocre at best. It's what you can expect in California City.

Over 3 years ive only had 1 or 2 issues and it wasnt anything to complain about. Pizza and wings have always been hot and on time except my few bad experiences. Every restaurant will have bad reviews however jesses is in my humble opinion the best pizza in cal city. Service and food are id say a 4.5 out of 5.

I thought this place was an outstanding pizza joint. The marinara sauce was unique and quite tasty. The staff were friendly and courteous. The side salad was fresh and a large portion size for the cost. They were very busy when I visited Sunday night but my order was ready early. The mozzarella sticks could have been fried for another 30 seconds but were still good just not super gooey.

Ordered a pizza only to receive it an 1hr and 40 minutes later, and also COLD we called to ask what was the status of our order and they claimed it has only been 68 minutes since we had ordered.
Never had issues before until now which sucks.

Great pizza and friendly staff.what more can you ask for? The service is fast and worth the price. I even saw the delivery drivers literally run between the store and the car.

The salad was ok, calzone was good, pasta was pretty good, the pizza was great, and the garlic bread was so delicious (in that order too).

Slow service and food isn't consistent in portion or taste. The pesto chicken pasta and garlic bread are my favorite and my son likes the pepperoni pizza. The calzone is okay.
