Jiffy Lube reviews
18Great experience, this gentleman named Jose Ortiz was on top of it very nice, told us about thing we should get done.got us in an out.crew was respectful.thank you
Bad service. It says here that it closes at 5 and at 4: 20 they were already closing. They said come back another day
I would not recommend using this Jiffy Lube my 1st time coming here time coming here and they started they started the oil change process pretty nice until the end when they told me that they were doing my differential I said I didn't agree with that and I heard the guy that had already started Draining I asked him how much that would be and he told me a $119.99. But I didn't want that service and they said that they would keep me on my way find out that they did not refill my differential after draining it even though I did not ask for my differential fluid to be changed. The guy told me that I was 2 qt low on oil when I checked my car before I brought it in and it was full I watched them fill my radiator fluid up with just water seems a little cheap for a company. Do you want a nice bad service come here but if you want a good service I would recommend using somewhere different even Walmart would be better than them lol. How it seems like we're going to have to Sue them to get any prizes back. Plus the 3 employees there seemed like they were smoking something good cause they were all messed. Now I have to go by with my own money some differential fluid because I have none in my truck. Add to see people like this even be working
TL;DR
Good at oil changes, no problems with engine pertaining to engine oil.
Never buy their brake pads. Their air filters are at least double the price at auto parts stores. If they say your battery needs replacing, get a second opinion, especially if it’s been less than three years since you last got it replaced.
The staff is friendly and quick. That is, if you can get to the shop first before they open, they’ll take care of you quickly. They do a good job with the oil changes. I’ve had them do that on my car for quite some time now, haven’t had any problems after the fact.
But the brake pads they put on my car didn’t even last 7,000 miles before they started squeaking. My mechanic said the pads were “cooked” when he replaced them. He showed me the pads, and they looked horrendous. They were nearly fully worn out, black, and scratched up. I have never had pads look so bad after use or had any wear out so quickly.
When I got my oil changed today, the manager showed me my engine and cabin air filters. The engine one was only slightly dirty, yet still recommended I buy a new one from the shop. The cabin filter did need replacing, however. So I replaced that at less than half JL’s price by going to AutoZone.
But the most egregious instance was that the same manager told me that my battery needed replacing. He showed me a slip of paper without any specifics pertaining to my car or the shop that said “BATTERY TEST. REPLACE BATTERY. ” AAA replaced my battery in October of last year, so I had a technician come do a battery best, and guess what? It passed, came out good. My car hasn’t had any problems starting since I got my current, 13-month-old battery. He was probably trying to take me for every dime I got when I’m already scraping by because of the holidays. Capitalism at it’s finest.
Bottom line-only use these guys for oil changes and tire rotations. Everything else they sell you is of cheap quality and/or overpriced.
I go there for the quick service.it took me longer to drive there and back.than it took to get the oil changed.its my go to place.
Great job. Nice fast and easy. Made my last minute stop before a long road trip a breeze. Thanks guys!
The guy at Jiffy Lube was absolutely no help and was completely rude. However Valvoline on sierra hwy saved the day.
I have A problem; But the Way it was Handle by Management was Costumer Oriented. I will recommend this Place to my Friends and Neighbors.
Fast service. Under new management. Good thing too because i stopped going there when they tried to sell me a bunch of unnecessary services. Not these guys though. Differential gear oil change. Break in oil was at 700 miles. Every place else wanted hours to do it. 15 min is all it took and I watched them physically do it. $80 and out the door. Be aware i supplied the new fluids so keep that in mind when getting a quote
Quickest oil change I’ve ever had!
Good service and great customer service I highly recommend it!
Called the morning to schedule an appointment. Nice gentleman told me I didn't really need one and to just stop by when convenient. Turned up around 1 pm and was worried that the crew would be having lunch. I am not happy when people do that to me and want to extend the same courtesy. They assured me it was perfectly fine. Told them what I needed and they explained the options and what was included. Provided me with a nice waiting room and kept me updated on what was needed. They performed the work in a timely fashion, polite and professional. Highly recommend this location if in the area. Thanks guys! There are people out here that really appreciate you!
Removing oil filter oil splattered all over. Got home oil.dripped on the driveway was not easy clean not happy
Went to get my brakes done, they told me to go to a different jiffy lube cause they didn't have enough people to do my brakes.
If its the One in Yucca Valley it was excellent. Good service. Very aware and knowledgable.
Service was fast. Did service and charged me for it, before they asked if I wanted it done. Changed my wiper blades and charged me $50.00. I could do it for way less. Not happy, but I needed it done.
One of the best places to get your oil changed. I've never had work done here but I've been getting my oil changed at this location for 5 years. They are always polite, professional, and often have coupons online
Got to love when these techs torque down an oil filter that says DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN so you can't get it off and you'll have to bring it to them.
Thanks for nothing
This jiffy lube has a great team! All the techs seem knowledgeable and to really enjoy their work. Great customer service and great work can’t go wrong with this spot!
