Jiffy Lube, Redlands CA

For many years, I religiously went to Pepboys in Redlands, across the street from Jiffy Lube. I had a scheduled appointment at Pepboys, and normally, they are done within 30 min to an hour, but I like to grab a bite and walk to a local place to eat. When I returned 1 hour and a half later, I found my car was still sitting in the same spot, and when asked, the assistant manager told me they are working on paperwork.

45 min passed and still nothing which I realized PEPBOYS forgot about my appointment as they overbooked for the day which the manager quickly blamed staffing issues instead of apologizing and accepting responsibility for their mistake.

I was so upset, asked for my keys and left, still needing an oil change. I called Jiffy Lube across the street and they told me, no appointment needed to bring the car in.

I drove across the street and they assisted me right away. The person who checked me in was personable and asked how my day was while he checked me into their system. Within 30 minutes, I was done. I found a coupon online and even got a $20 discount. Jiffylube Redlands team rocks!

Showed up in the middle bay and they were decently busy. The person that in the car next to me was being helped. I’m a ver patient person and wasn’t in any time crunch. The person ends up not getting serviced and leaves. Still now we are 10 minutes waiting with no contact. Then they wave in a lady who just arrived they help her immediately and she goes inside. 10 more minutes goes by and finally I get out of the car and asked if I’m in the wrong lane and let him know at least 3 other employees looked at me in now over 20 minutes and no one ever made contact at all. He was shocked and offered to pull the lady’s car out and put me in front of her. I did not feel that was fair to her and I decided to leave.
Now I have been on hold waiting for a manager for 10 minutes.
So guys I get it your busy but as a customer can you at least come make contact to show some customer service skills and appreciation!

The guys that work at this location are kind, professional, and quick. They have a great team that communicates efficiently and effectively. I always like going to this location for my vehicle!

My battery is a trunk-mounted battery which is more difficult to install because part of the inner trunk liner has to be removed to reach the battery. The Jiffy Lube staff were excellent in being able to figure out how to reach and remove the old battery then install my new battery, even with the additional challenge of being recessed in the trunk. Thank you very much to the Jiffy Lube staff!

I got stranded when one of my windshield wipers popped off on the pouring rain and wouldn't go back on. They quickly helped me out and got me on my way.
