5Not pleased with the Summer Camp director or staff. Had an issue at the camp, my child was injured and staff did not notice or assist at all. We attempted to get it resolved with the director of the camp but when we received a call from her, she dominated the conversation without letting us speak and then abruptly hung up on us. We called back immediately but got her voicemail. She says she was concerned but her actions told us otherwise. I would avoid using this camp until they can get their program improved and maybe get a new director.
My son goes to summer camp there it's called explorers 2 is ages from 7: 00 to 11 years old
Some of the facilities are nice, playground is fantastic along with a lot of the green space itself, after that it's unfortunately down hill. The bathroom facilities are absolutely disgusting, a lot of picnic tables are old and defaced, trash everywhere and the older lady that works in the rec center in the glass booth is terrible and should really consider retirement.
Behind the center are bathrooms, that the City of Vista really needs to clean throughly. So disappointing that they are not kept clean.
Great community park with a good staff and volunteer coaches. My kids have participated in activities here spanning 15 years. We have done camps and sports and are always pleased. This is a gem for the Vista community
