JJ Sushi & Pho, San Diego CA

We stayed in Best Western Americana hotel Jun 1,2023 and JJ Sushi & Pho was the 1st meal we had driving from Elk Grove. We have stopped by Panda express to get supper beside the Pho soup called Pho Special. I've ordered 2 orders and brought them back to the hotel.
1st of all.no pictures. I mean when I opened the bowl (to go), I knew it's going to be grand. I mean, the bag was heavy so it was obvious these soup are really loaded. Again, there are no pictures but I could hardly breathe and I still had leftovers. We discovered layer that we still had chinese food from Panda Express but for supper but we knew we wasted money going there. That's how great the Pho soup special is. If we would ever go back to this area, I am buying this same soup and I hope that many will discover this place is special. Thank you to all the staff I have encouter that evening. It made our stay in the area great.

Place is a chill vibe. The pho special with meatballs pretty damn tasty the broth godly. Good service

Roll was very big in size and portion but not tasty. I wouldn't come back to here. I got Mexicano roll and edaname and wasn't too happy about the taste of either items. Edaname were not soft and slippery hard to eat.

So far this place has been good! I've tried their teriyaki chicken and it was good also their salmon sushi and egg rolls. No disappointment on the food, I'm planning on coming back to try more of their menu.

My family and i visit this place often, it is clean, great customer service and food is a 10/10 highly reccomend this place. Pho sushi and teriyaki are my personal favorites but everything is good.

I've tried this place for years now and the food is so good, the dishes taste homemade and I love their wonton soup, it's so flavorful. The owners are always very nice.

Food is amazing! It's a ritual for my husband and i to stop here every month after business meeting. Customer service is great, but once again the food is exquisite, the sushi, the soups, Kung pao chicken, Mongolian beef of the hook!

Nothing can ever describe how much I LOVE JJ's. Everytime I come visit San Diego I make it a point to go at least once. Their pho is amazing and their sushi is to die for! I love how they give a separate plate with extra dipping sauces for you sushi. Definitely come here and eat and don't forget to order an order of the delicious Crab Cream cheese rangoons

Always a lovely experience and the food is amazing! Food very fresh and so delicious! I always drive a distance just to come here.

Owers were super nice and food was good. Had the JJ roll and lemonade and no joke some of the best lemonade I’ve ever had

Clean community restraunt. Service friendly and prompt. Pho broth a little on the sweet side. Generous portions of meat in the soup and veggies on the side. Meatballs and rare steak were pretty tasty, but the well done steak was a little thicker and chewier than I prefer. Viet iced coffee helped me stave off the afternoon food coma.

The owners were very nice. The food was good with good portions. I like the variety of Asian cuisines

It says their open until 8pm, got there at 7pm and they guy told us they are close! Change your hours or turn off your "open" sing if you don't want to sell after certain time!

Place is always clean. Family operated! Sushi here is of great value, plenty of food and very affordable. They always go extra and make sure you are good to go with your food.
