Joe & Ernie's Pizzeria, Chula Vista CA

My recent visit to this local pizza place was an absolute delight! Even though I've only been here once, the experience was so fantastic that I can't help but give it a ️️️️️ review.

To start, we ordered the house salad, and it was fresh, crisp, and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were clearly of high quality, and it was the perfect way to kick off our meal.

For our main dishes, we went with the pepperoni calzone and the meat lover pizza. The calzone was a true work of art – the dough was perfectly golden brown, and the pepperoni and cheese inside were ooey-gooey and delicious. It was like a flavor explosion in every bite.

And the meat lover pizza? Oh my goodness, it was a carnivore's dream come true! The combination of various meats and cheeses on that pizza was a mouthwatering symphony of flavors. The crust was just the right amount of crispy, and the sauce tied everything together perfectly.

But what really stood out was the friendly staff, who made our visit even more enjoyable. They ensured our orders were spot on and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Their exceptional service added an extra layer of warmth to the already welcoming environment.

I may have only visited this place once, but it's safe to say that I'll be back for more.

Cozy place. It can't seat a big party, but still worth the trip. They make the best calzones I've ever had! You've got to check them out!

I was craving pizza and found this place. I ordered a 12 inch meat lovers and loved the flavor and the taste of the crust. I would recommend this place to satisfy your pizza needs!

The pizza here is the BOMB! It really brings you a taste of Italy and the atmosphere fits in well! I recommend this place for your next pizza visit!

It was incredible, such good prices for a filling and delicious meal.
The pizza tastes so fresh and the service outstanding, attention to detail and great customer service. Getting greeted as soon as I walk in the door is so rare these days! I
would highly recommend to anyone wanting an authentic and affordable Pizzaria to Joe & Ernie's Pizza.
Their salads so big, I always add Chicken on mine, & love all of the dressings they have available.

3rd time, went in to order 2 pizza slices and a drink for $8, for 2. And they can't take a $50 bill I just got from the ATM across the parking lot. So we walked down to Panda Express.

I don't think we'll be back as 2 out of 3 times was not very good.

2nd time here and called ahead to order a medium pepperoni pizza for 2,2 drinks, and it was $24, and less pizza than 2 by the slices with drinks would have been $14. So don't order ahead and pay $10 more for less food.

First time here, very friendly staff.

2 slices and a drink for $8 adults, $6 for students!

Very good pizza, can't wait to get hungry again and come back!

Second time coming. Absolutely love the service. The staff keep the pizza nice and hot, bring it to you, and hand you napkins. My favorite pizza is for sure the Margherita. A new favorite spot to eat out for lunch.

The pizza is delicious and I love the fact they sell slices so you can try different flavors.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed with EVERYTHING about Joe and Ernies Pizza.
This is the first and last time I will order from this establishment.

Reasons as follows:
1. Did not state the name of the restaurant or the name of the person who answered and my "brief hold time" was almost 4 minutes.
2. Ordered a 12 inch Italian Pizza for delivery. Nothing else.
3.45 minutes later I called to find out what the status was for my pizza. Joe and Ernies Pizza informed me that my pizza was "just finished and going out for delivery". I apologized for asking, then inquiring about the fact that they close at 8pm. Was told "we still deliver after we close".
4. ONE AND A HALF HOURS after I placed my order it was FINALLY delivered. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE AND RIDICULOUS!
5. The Italian Pizza I ordered was luke warm at best and after less than 5 minutes the crust became hard as a rock. Way too much cheese which covered what little toppings were used to create an "Italian Pizza". EXTREMELY disappointed at the lack of flavor of this pizza.
6. Pizza, delivery fee, sales tax and tip for a grand total of WASTED MONEY $27.53.

IF there is any way to recuperate my WASTED MONEY it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm another "out of towner", and honestly, upon reflection of other reviews made I'm unsure how my words would help already stellar recommendations that share my thoughts.

But.

The personal pizzas are a great portion size if you are traveling just by yourself. Also, last I checked they had a discount for younger students.

Hi light of the day; individual slices are gourmet quality. Great pizza, not all greasy or cardboard like. Love their habanero pizza! I recommend

Amaizing pizza, we love this place, staff is always helpful. Localy owned. Ingredients are always fresh
