4Everyone I encountered was wonderful to work with. They are knowlegable and compassionate. As a nurse of 33+ years, I know a good doctor when I meet one.
I fell and broke my femur, went to ER and Dr. Smith was the Orthopedic Surgeon that evening. I had polio in the fifties so my surgery was a little more complicated. Dr. Smith told me the pros and cons of this surgery. He assured me that he had done his research and was capable of repairing the femur. Surgery went off without a hiccup and all is well. I highly recommend Dr. Smith and his staff. They are all very capable of getting their respective jobs done and they are a very compassionate team.
You won't find a more professional, dedicated ortho surgeon. I can promise you that. Dr. Smith performed two operations on me (one was life-saving) and his compassion for handling pain post-op is incredible. I would put my life back in his hands again if I ever needed to.
I was referred to Dr. Smith by another orthopedic surgeon who felt Dr. Smith was more qualified to do the surgery I need. I am still considering the pros and cons of having the surgery. When I met Dr. Smith he talked to me with respect and concern and showed and explained my xrays. He answered my questions and I am confident that he can do the surgery I need once I decide to have it.
