Company opposes your right to repair your own equipment. That is their official stance. Not only is it John Deere's official stance, they've ALREADY lobbied to push legislation in several states (many in America's Heartland) which would REMOVE YOUR ABILITY TO REPAIR YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT.

Do not dignify this company, do not dignify anyone gullible enough to work here, do not think about using John Deere equipment. The company has exposed itself as anti-consumer. The parts they're selling you were produced, assembled, and shipped from China - and when it fails (planned obsolescence), they expect you to pay for a replacement AND for John Deere certified repair. That's insanity. It's extortion. And you don't have to take my word for it. Go look up "John Deere vs. Right to Repair. "

How can anyone work for John Deere with that in mind? Why would someone work for a company like that? Please consider joining millions of Americans in boycott of John Deere for its predatory behavior, which will NOT decrease. It can't, as a matter of legal fact. The company's obligations are to its stockholders, not to you or me. Not to the millions of Americans who rely on food grown and harvested (potentially) with John Deere equipment. The only way to remind John Deere that they're an American company is to hurt their wallets, then they MUST treat Americans with respect once more.

Please educate yourself about this horrifically corrupt company, and then excuse yourself from any involvement in it.
