21They were able to get me in very last minute for an emergency tire replacement. They were courteous and professional and did a great job.
This place is great I pulled up at 7: 30 am and they had my car ready by lunchtime. Also honest diagnosis, there was a suspected suspension problem however upon inspection they decided that it wasn’t necessary, very honest and didn’t try to sell me parts or work I didn’t need.
Best auto shop. They know there stuff and treat people right. I went to three shops before coming to this one and they actually had a solution. They have earned my business! Hector the service writer knows a lot and was able to explain it well. They have fair pricing and are on there A game all the time.

Thank you for the exceptional customer service, it did not go unnoticed and is appreciated. My first time going and will be a returning customer I do feel compelled however to express my concern that employees are not wearing masks. Nobody wants to wear them and I understand, neither do I. But the threat of this virus is still very present. Many persons are asymptomatic, and can be spreading without knowing. COVID is most commonly spread from person to person from droplets in the air which can remain in the air up to a few minutes, making it so easy for it to spread. Please consider encouraging employees to wear masks. I understand this cannot be enforced. I also think as a business this kind of action should be modeled to customers. I didn't see any customers wearing masks either. This is for your protection too! Our state is continuing to see spikes in cases and it all starts with us -using precautions to mitigate risk.

I was referred by another customer Nicole told me to take my car there to have a water pump put on my 2002 Acura TL and Hector took care of me he first quoted the price did the analysis and no other problems other than cooling systems replaced water pump paid left. Overall a good experience with good people.
I worked with Hector and he was great. Very friendly and professional. Took the time to explain everything in detail, answered all my questions and made sure to keep me updated about the progress. Great customer service all around!

My beloved '85 Suburban backfired recently and scared the begeezus out of me. John Ellis's Crew took very good care of my vehicle and me. I thought it needed the carb rebuilt, but it was just a hose and a dirty carb. And, then it passed smog. They went above & beyond by picking me up from my home. I will be returning for any other repairs my beast may require. Thank You John Ellis CREW!
Hector is the best! Patient, kind and understanding. The work they have done on a couple of my cars has been great and they are always keeping me informed of any progress. I will take all my cars to them.
Super easy to work with, kept me informed of what they found, easy communication via email/online and phone, recommendations felt authentic and they showed me pictures of my car to support their recommendations, even accommodated to my slightly late work schedule so I could get my car before the weekend came. I plan to go back to them for all my car needs!
I was quoted great prices on parts and labor for Tire sensor work and they did a complete check on other tire sensors to see if they needed replacement. I was kept up to date with emails on progress and expected completion. I will be returning again because of the great prices and friendly welcome I received.
This place always does a great job! They always get me in & out the same day. A little pricey but the quality is well worth it.

I had a great experience and used the credit from the mailer to get my brake light fixed. They also filled up a tire that needed it. Great service and fast. I just read a book for about 20 minutes til they were done. Thanks!
I have been coming here for about a decade. They are the best. They always tell me what is wrong with my car without pressure. When they say I HAVE to do something I know it is important. The prices are no different than other local shops but with better service. They cost more than Jiffy Lube but you know John Ellis is ensuring your car is drivable.
I do a lot of my own maintenance but feel comfortable bringing my vehicles here when something is out of my comfort level or I just don't feel like doing it. They seem honest and fair.
My elderly Camry began overheating one morning as I was heading in to work. Thankfully, I work not far from John Ellis & Son. They got me in and had everything fixed and ready to go by the time I left work that day. It was a major repair, but the price was reasonable for the work they did. Good communication throughout, and I will go there from now on for all my older car's mechanical needs.
John Ellis & Son in Midtown has always been and continues to be my go to automotive repair place. I have brought my 1947 Packard, my Volkswagen Jetta, my Subaru Baja an currently my 2012 Honda Pilot for maintenance and repairs. They have always took good care of my vehicles in a timely manner at very reasonable prices.

They are very professionnals and dedicated to solve your problems. My car need a smog test but the data has been wipe out because the battery was plug out. They took the initiative to put the car on dino to complete the catalyst cycle to make the successful test.
They stick on the gentleman deal about the costs even if it take more time to solve the problem. Bravo!
