Where to park:
-Digger and Sharon Williams Rodeo Park has a lot by the middle of the trail
-If for some reason that lost is full, park by the library.
-There are parking lots in Historic Folsom at that end of the trail

And don't worry about getting lost. Just follow the black asphalt if you wonder which direction to go:)

On a Thursday in September we parked on the residential street Hancock Dr at E. Natoma St.joining the trail there. We walked our dog LuLu Southwesterly and included the spur to Folsom Prison and back to the trail exiting at Stafford St.near Folsom Zoo. A few bikes, a few walkers and runners but not crowded. Total distance was a tad over 3-miles. Then stopped for a great lunch at the Represa Grill on E. Natoma at Stafford St. Great time!

A paved, clean, and long trail that connects prison road to Folsom dam.
You will enjoy cycling or running on it

A very well-maintained trail. Great for taking a spin on our electric bikes. Very close to downtown Folsom so you can grab a meal and some shopping and wine tasting while there.

I come here a lot because it’s easy to get to from Sacramento and there are a lot of places to explore if you go off trail

Parking space. Good trails. Access to water with a little detour. Just surreal.

Well maintained path for walking and bikes. Could use more benches but maybe I'm just old and out of shape. Ps. You're walking by folsom prison so dont pick up hitchhikers!
