Johnny Rockets reviews
15Like most major chains the food quality is not as good, but everything was cooked to order and served hot. The service is spot on.
Went here with my family and it was busy right up until 3pm. We had a double pram and it was tight and not heaps of room to park inside.
We were seated promptly and asked if we wanted to swap when a booth became free, but we managed fine on the stools.
Ordered two burgers, (one a double) one kids hotdog and fries and shake. Another shake and a coke plus some onion rings.
All the food was delicious and brought out fairly promptly.
Cost was just over $40 + tip.
Other than a bit tight for a big pram i would come back again.
I came back again, still excellent.
A good atmosphere, quality cuisine and competent staff. The place is a little noisy and the toilets need to be refreshed for the good of the customers.
I had the original which was ok. More relish than burger. No combo with fries and a drink which I had to pay for separately with the original burger. Wasn't clear on the menu what was a combo meal and what wasn't. No menu either as you walk in just ones on the bar or when you're seated which if you want to look first wasn't helpful.

Little charm, almost a bit morbid. The good times of this place are definitely over. The staff listless. Only the food was still reasonably OK.
If you are in the area, you absolutely have to go there. The burgers and hot dogs are amazing.
The taste is absolutely good, I was happy to eat the Rocket single burger for sure. It was the best burger in LA, and the fried onion. This restaurant has a very positive atmosphere. Thank you.
Worst Burger had in LA. Fries black from how old the oil they fried in was. Friendly and helpful waitress.
I don’t usually enjoy chain restaurants, but the staff here was super nice and attentive. Food was better than I expected, and the shakes were really good.
Delicious food and entertaining staff that draw cute pictures out of ketchup as we receive our food is a cute touch to the service. Staff are really nice and have excellent customer service skills.
The food is wow amazing yumalicious yum the place is clean great music and the staff is a1 wow
Highly recommend this place seriously
The burger was AMAZING! Onion rings were good too and excellent service. I can’t wait to go back!
Possibly 1 of my best burgers at a fast food joint. Loved the crisp edge on the patty and the overall balance of the burger. The style and diner vibe rocks too. Price is on the high side though which is a bit of a let down. But still a great experience. I will def keep Johnny rockets high up on my list of burgers.
$25 for a burger and fries is pretty steep but the noticeably old/discolored onions and the mold on the tomatoes makes it extraordinarily overpriced.
One of the most famous fast food chains in the USA, for me the best. 50s/60s style, excellent quality and prices. The place is unique, the Santa Monica promenade is one of the obligatory stops in Los Angeles, so it's a great place for a snack.
