Johnny's Pastrami reviews
16I haven't been there in 15 years. It's still very delicious. The meat is carved alot thinner than I remember and its a little lighter in terms of quantity. I remember the pastrami used to fall out of the bun. Still very delish and the cashier is super friendly and helpful. We were missing on French dipping sauce but other than that, great experience.
The pastrami is the best in town. The only problem is parking. They took away the parking lot. I had to circle around the block or park in the red or bus zone.
We were trying to eat in the bar but someone didn't bring there ID card! So we had to be outside it was very cold so we had our drinks to get warm.bartender didn't l know how to make Micheladas! The bartender needs to be cultured!
I haven't been to this location in a couple years. The food was very good pastrami oooweee tender and the Citrus thai basil soda is yummy.
The only thing I liked was the fries. I ordered pastrami and it tasted horrible and rather expensive and large pieces in a small bun and the service took a long time.
It’s a fake Johnny’s Pastrami nothing in common with the original, The original was owned by Israeli man that died. Shame on the new owner or owners
It's the best pastrami you will ever eat. And that's coming from someone who spent 10 years in NYC. Get it Rueben style.
Food was good.but I'm standing there ready to order and she closed the window in my face luckily.another lady behind me wad paying attention.and told her hello we waiting to order.and she did take or order.and the food was delicious.
The french dip pastrami is always on point so is the fries or potato salad that comes as a side. I feel like the pastrami is juicer than Johnny's pastrami in Culver city
This place is amazing! I've never had bad food here since they opened back up after the fire. It's of course a new fancy chef and thatbis why it taste so good. But the menu was kept simple and super yummy. Highly recommend it.
Food is always fresh, Customer service is fast & friendly. My fav is Johnies fries w/xtra cheese & sauce but we all know the Pastrami sandwich is #1
The food is delicious. The pastrami isn’t particularly special but has a good flavor. They need to do some renovations. It’s all outdoor but not appealing at all. It’s all street parking.
Amazing Food! Can't wait to go back!
Make this a Go-To spot whenever you're in town and want something quick, but savory. You won't regret it.
W eats for sure
Indulged in 2 of the sandwiches they were exquisite
And the onion rings and loaded fries were delicious
I would love to try the s’mores one day
4.9/5 would definitely indulge again
I actually seen this place in the movie Sandy Wexler with Adam Sandler it was in the background when Adam was talking to Jennifer Hudson, I find it interesting to find locales this way so you can see where some movies part's were filmed
Coming to the original Johnny’s Pastrami used to be a real treat as a kid. This place had the best Pastrami and fries in LA easily. Now that it’s been revamped, I unfortunately can’t say the same. I ordered the French dip pastrami and was highly disappointed. Pastrami had no taste at all. The tamarind drink I ordered was good and so were the fries, but the garlic sauce on the side was meh. Potato salad was awful. I tried to come in with an open mind as this was my first time here since the renovations, but I can’t see myself coming back. Customer service was great though, which I appreciate anywhere I go.
