OMG! Iciest ice cream I have ever had! My teeth hurt! There is no cream or richness to the ice cream whatsoever- horrid! Website is great- actual product the pits.

Kudos to Jo Jo’s for creating the highest quality which means organic made in-house creamiest ice cream in town!

This establishment is literally soooooo small it’s hard to fit any guest so maybe that’s why the line is always out the door (because nobody can fit inside) also, I was very disappointed with my ice cream. Maybe because everyone kept telling me how it is so good which got my hopes up a little too high and then when I finally get to try it I was really really let down big time. Good customer service but not the best ice cream place.

This place has awesome ice cream and you can tell it’s homemade. I’ll be back when I’m in town.

Pretty good ice cream, a bit pricier but the flavors are good. It’s top tier ingredients pricing but I don’t think it warrants that. Unique flavors that aren’t overboard. Id prob say it’s like a Handels but maybe a bit better quality wise.

Absolutely amazing ice cream that taste just that the food it aims to replicate. Very reasonable pricing with free cookie (both gluten free and regular).

Went in to get a cookie. For 2 dollars, I got the most pathetic, small grocery store cookie I've ever seen. Truly abysmal.

WOW! Some of the best Ice Cream we'd ever tasted, as well as some awesome baked cookies that come with your Ice Cream order:) Compliments to the 2 young ladies working hard today as well, very polite and courteous. Keep up the GREAT work and keep that Ice Cream coming! HIGHLY RECOMMENDEED!

How do you elevate your experience when you are surrounded by the beautiful coastal town of Encinitas with multiple dining options and incredible sunsets? You create ice cream flavors that are rich, creamy, and rival the willowy wisps of clouds surrounding you, rolled in a freshly baked waffle cone which will transport you to nirvana. The shop is cozily nestled between other establishments, but the long line out the door certified its credentials long before we entered. Once inside, we were greeted with delicious flavors like Nibby Chocolate, Lemon Berry Shortbread, Vanilla Bean, Chocolate Chip, and a few other amazing flavors. However, the flavors aren’t the only thing to entice you, the place offers vegan and gluten free options as well. While browsing through these selections the warm smell of the freshly baked and rolled waffles, and chocolate chip cookies kept tantalizing us. After our final selections all placed in our cones, we devoured the ice cream in a jiffy. Despite the small size, this place is punching way above its weight and should be a must visit when you are in town.

Make sure you stop by Jo Jo’s Creamery! I love ice cream. I mean, I would marry it if I could. Jo Jo’s has to be some of the best I’ve had. I added this to favorites list and you will too after trying
some. It’s worth the price.

This ice cream is the best I think I’ve had! Honey lavender and cayenne sea salt caramel together… so scrumptious I’m lost for words. We went here both nights on our trip in San Diego!

I HAD thought of myself as a reasonably decisive person. Well that self concept ended today. I truly struggled to decide which flavor of ice cream to order at JoJo’s Creamery. I mean…the pressure!

It’s not that you could make an error or anything. It is more about the fomo! As true artisans tend to be, of course a regular size order is referred to here as a “JoJo” and complimentary (fresh and unbelievably tasty) cookies are included with each order.

@jojoscreamery is tucked into a little plaza off Highway 101 in Encinitas and offers ample outdoor seating.

This is likely the best creamery in San Diego county, their flavors are really rich and pronounced. You've gotta try it at least once, and the warm cookie with the cold ice cream, yum! They go together like peas and carrots. Great job!

Holy moly! The vegan strawberry shortcake was the winner of tonight’s JoJo’s experience. Get it while you can!

Best ice cream I have ever had hands down. It is absolutely exquisite! Artisan ice cream at its finest.

You can't have no samples with flavors like cayenne peppee salted caramel. Since none were allowed we went to Gelato 101 along the road and it was awesome.

My son had a single scoop on a waffle cone. He said the waffle cone was excellent! He mistakenly got chocolate chip chocolate flavor, and doesn't like crunchy bits in his ice cream, so he gave it to me. I thought it tasted excellent.
