Jollibee, Irvine CA

I’m a big fan of jollibee and visit this location quiet often. Unfortunately there’s is about 30% chance you’ll get overcooked dry hard chicken. Nothing worse than getting a 10 piece chicken bucket to go and the chicken is barely edible. I hope the store manager can really make sure the right cooking time for the chicken.

I like that it is conveniently located inside of the grocery, with a good amount of tables to dine in. Looks like they get swamped during rush hour so be prepared for that. Food was typical of other Jollibee branches, yummy and good value.

While at Seafood City in Irvine CA, I decided to stop in to Jollibee a for a quick lunch. I ordered a deluxe chicken sandwich at the counter and took a seat. Wait time was about average.

I found the chicken sandwich to be substantial and contained more chicken than similar fast food establishments. The chicken was not dry and was flavorful. The French fries were crisp and very good.

An added plus. Walk outside the indoor restaurant and there are lots of tasty Filipino foods, from prepared meals to bakery items to purchase. I would do this again!

I love their chicken joy especially with added gravy. Yuml! Employees very friendly and nice. Most likely will visit this location again. A+, highly recommended to family and friends.

Felt rushed and they gave me the wrong order. The portion sizes at this location was good but the taste was off compared to the other Jollibee's I've been to. The chicken didn't taste as well cooked either but overall it was okay.

Had the spicy chicken sandwich, 2-piece chicken, fries, and mango peach pie. Overall the food was not good. The sandwich tasted old and stale. It definitely was not made fresh as the buns were smashed and stuck on the chicken. It tasted like it was sitting out for a while and they microwaved it. The chicken pieces were crispy but overly oily and also didn’t taste fresh. Fries with gravy were decent and the pie was good, but not better than a McDonald’s apple pie. First time ever visiting and doubtful that I’d ever return as I was served food that wasn’t good or fresh. I ate the meal at the restaurant right away so it wasn’t sitting in a bag. Very disappointed.

If you are coming first time, then walk straight into seafood city market, you will find this restaurant on the entrance left side. Though I didn't try their food stuff, it was quite packed. Worth trying!

Pineapple juice is bland, ask twice for added sugar but ignored. Oh well, those guys need a seminar for customer service.

I tried to get the National Fried Chicken Day offer which requires you to order online in order to get the offer. BUT, when you try to place an order online it won't let you. I tried for 2 days. I even tried as soon as the store opened but, the website kept saying that volume was high and wouldn't take the order.

This promotion was a total SCAM. Don't trust this business. You can only order full priced items because the SCAM promotional offer was unavailable. The offer was too good to be true so, that's how they get you in. They send out a mass email telling everyone about the offer but the offer is not honored because the website won't work once you select it. However when you remove the promotional offer and select full priced items it works. That is clearly a SCAM.

Wonderful customer service!
The Manager (I forgot her name) not only gave me a refund for the chicken bucket that i bought that were over cooked… but also gave me the the whole $25 meal deal that came with it m.i was only expecting the chicken to be replaced. Also on top of that, since I couldn’t go back to Irvine that day and instead went back today (Tuesday) …. She remembered and had noted that i will be coming sometime…. I really thought they have forgotten…. That was awesome of her and the stafff! Thank you? God Bless you all!

I was just from here and the handling of the food was really bad, 2 employees handling the food are not wearing gloves and there was even an incident that a chicken fell and one of them grabbed it by their bare hand and put in bucket and still give it to the costumer, everyone was wearing gloves but these two employees and they are the one packaging the food for take out.

Food was good. I ordered the steak with mushrooms with banana jackfruit pie. The service was excellent. I will come back next time I’m in the area.

I love jollibee its taste very good. However this location is very stingy qith portion size. The rice would not be able to fill a toddler.

This Jollibee is hidden. Too hidden, I wish they put up big signs in front so people driving on Barranca pky can see that they actually live near a big time fried chicken restaurant. Don't hide this delicious place! I would bring Susan pls here if she was in town.

The food specifically the chicken sandwich and fries was cold, on top of not having any flavor. We had to go back and ask for our food to be heated. Everything about the experience was, to put it simply, awful.

I've had Jollibee's chicken before and it is pretty good. If you can it without a huge amount of oil you'll see what I mean.
The spicy chicken sandwich and tenders were also something I wanted to try. The chicken flavor was good but a tad bit on the rubber side. The tenders were nothing to rave about but when dipped with the sauce much better. Shinkflation has hit this establishment just like everywhere else. Although the chicken sandwich was a good portion the tenders not so much.

Was my first time trying Jollibee ever, since my friends praise it so much. I completely understand being short staffed and longer wait times. Was it worth the wait? Unfortunately no. The chicken is the only thing that gave this place 2 stars, everything else was not appealing. There was a server who accidentally knocked over a plate on the floor. She cleaned it up but didn’t change her gloves! How can you pick up trash and not change gloves? Pretty sure that’s a health code/Food handler violation. Not to mention the place looked pretty trashed for a customers perspective, trash all over the place and still gave this place the benefit of the doubt. While taking a couple of bites into my food I found a hair. I have short hair and that was my final straw.
