If I give more stars I would! The service was 10/10; our server, went above and beyond and the food was INCREDIBLE! Great customer service, delicious food and an atmosphere that felt like we were in Italy! Can't wait to go back.

The pizza and pasta were really delicious, the wine too, but the cannoli was not good (too much chocolate chips and the cream had way too much cinnamon).
The waiter was alright but disappeared in the end. Had to wait for anyone to come for a long time.

Small retail store sized restaurant. Reservations would be preferred. The restaurant is filled with fresh pizza being cooked. Pizza made in front of your eyes. The appetizer salad is so rich and delicious. Makes you wanting more. The pasta is so flavorful and the "El Chaparrito" pizza is outstanding.

I ordered from them through door dash. My order never came. I was told it was door dash fault I had to call them. It was not their fault. Ok - I understand I guess. After one and half hour on hold and arguing with door dash they finally processed my complaint or escalated it - I still don’t have a refund. Now here is where this place comes into the equation. I called them a second time and they put me on hold three time and then disconnected the line. Only to receive a call from them 1 hour and 15 minutes into my call with DoorDash to hear them say uuhhh there was a mistake - well well well. So I have no food no money door dash wouldn’t refund and that is why I don’t recommend ordering from this place or DoorDash. Perhaps a visit to the actual place is different but my recommendation is don’t order online from them.

This place seems to always be packed, so reservations are recommended. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

You have to put in your order all at once. The food was decent but not worth the price point. Service was good, but it also seemed like our waitress was the only waitstaff, so it took a while to get a box and the check. Everyone else seemed to be expo or busboys.

Love this spot. Come for the fussili, stay for the pizza!
It's all fresh and delicious and the space has a nice chill vibe. The dessert is also great if you have room! Book a table in advance if you can because it's a busy spot.

I’ve been twice to this place and I am so disappointed with their lack of empathy and poor customer service. In my experience, the servers and managers aren’t nice to the customers and they act like everyone is an annoyance. I’m no longer going there because it’s no fun.

Find another Italian (plus I would be surprised if this has European roots) to go to or just eat at Canters across the street for a more traditional family vibe that is not built on entitlement.

It was okay overall, good place for lunch.

The meatball was very tender and juicy. The bread on the side was very tasty too.

Chorizo pizza was salty but okay. The dough was nice and thin.

The lettuce salad was great, I loved the texture. It was over-seasoned but tasty.

Service was good, food was fast. I wish they have nicer vibe on that price range though.
They also charge 18% service fee.

Don't miss the gem salad to start, you wont be disappointed. Its pricey, but worth every bite. Curbside on Melrose is just discuating, if u can eat indise. Thank god there are other locations.

We finally made it to Jon & Vinny’s after months of hearing how amazing it is. It definitely lived up to the hype, it was such an amazing meal we left with leftovers and happy full belly’s. We had the Italian salad, meatballs, Os cotto pizza and the spaghetti limone. The highlight standout was the spaghetti limone, the flavor was so bright and punchy, not your typical heavy cheesey Italian dish, we loved it! The meatballs were so moist and mouthwatering, not dry at all and pairing it with the ricotta and foccacia garlic bread, ahh man it’s what dreams are made of.

There were two small things that I docked a star for, but I would like to prefix that they are not major inconveniences nor would it stop me from coming back. We secured a reservation for outdoor cabana, in the era of covid you could tell these were added recently, they are very echoey and hot, the fan definitely helped with getting the hot air out and circulating. Plus they are located on the street so you hear all the traffic and have people walking by constantly during your meal. The restaurant was not even half full on the inside it would have been nice to be offered an indoor seat. Second, again minor, but it was my birthday and I didn’t feel as though the staff took any additional special care to make it a better dining experience.

The service was terrible. Don’t expect water refills or a fast check. Food did not come to table together at all. The guy delivering the food said “Bing bong” as he set down the food. Everything was Unbelievably unprofessional.

Except The pizza. The pizza was fantastic

Jon and Vinnys is a staple to Los Angeles. It is arguably one of the best Italian restaurants the city has to offer. The service is always spot on and the food is always absolutely delicious. All of the pastas and pizzas are incredible. The corn angolotti is my favorite dish. They have an incredible chocolate cake dessert that makes the meal that much more amazing. Definitely get a reservation here. They book up very fast. They also have really good apps here. Definitely will be back everytime I'm visiting LA.

For customers who are trying to get a large catering order for 10 people and up please make sure to order through doordash directly and never through the website. The restaurant always keeps 100% of the tip which causes frustration with the delivery drivers most of them wont accept the order therefore the customer will wait a very long time. If a driver accepts the delivery some of them will steal the food as a revenge because they don't really know that its the restaurant that steal their money and think that the customer is being cheap. Please support hard working delivery drivers instead of thieves.

Loved this more than the the Brentwood location, I think! It was smaller, and so it was quieter. I went on a Tuesday evening with a reservation.

Service was awesome and our food came super quick! I had the meatballs and aglio e oglio. Both were delicious and the garlic that comes with the meatballs is to die for! My husband had the spicy fusilli, which he loved.

Would definitely return!

The pasta was delicious. The gem salad was unique and tasty. The desserts were excellent. The atmosphere is vibrant yet warm and inviting. The service was great. Prices are reasonable. My only reason to deduct a star is lack of parking. Parking is rough in the area so be prepared to go a little early to find parking.

The host said we would have a table in 25 min. Took our number down. And had us wait out in front. We waited from 9: 11 to 9: 50 before finally asking what was up. A different host told us they were done for the night and that we were told we were not guaranteed a table. We were not told that. He told us 25 min for a table and to wait outside. Also, while waiting we watched a cockroach walk right through the front door. Never coming to this location again.

This place is overrated and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The staff is indifferent. They don’t even care to move extra plates out of your way although it was not their busy hours. Overall below average food and service. Don’t expect anything more than a fast food-quality pasta and pizza.

Literally saw 2 COCKROACHES walk in while waiting for a table for 40 mins (9: 11pm-9: 50) only to never get seated!

I went to ask if our table was gonna be ready anytime soon since they quoted 20mins (we had no resy btw). Then the buzz-cut hostess said they aren’t seating anymore people and we weren’t guaranteed a table (which I don’t recall).

So crazy they didn’t let us know and just had us waiting. I wasn’t even that mad at the cockroaches because we were starving and hoping to sit away from the door (we’re from NY).

Anyways won’t be coming here again.
