Good place. Good food nice portions. If I could I’d beg on my knees to return there and eat the delishh number 5 breakfast combo. It comes with SPAM, with a second side of Jalapeño SPAM, J0s diner is a thumbs up for me

Elevated spin on classic diner fare in Mission Hills. The spinach and artichoke Benedict is divine with the brightness of the artichoke balancing the decadent creaminess of the hollandaise. The short rib French dip is hearty and delicious, featuring fork tender marinated beef on a soft bun with crisped edges and creamy gruyere cheese. Sliced green apples gave the cole slaw a nice, unique kick. For a fresh approach to classic dishes, this place is a must try. Service is upbeat and enthusiastic. There is metered parking on the street and a small lot behind the restaurant.

The food was alright but I ended up paying around $60 for 2 people and it wasbreakfast from what I remember. The food shouldn’t be that overpriced tbh.

We ordered from Uber eats so we did not get to experience the atmosphere. However, even through a delivery service, it was probably one of the best meals I’ve had in years.

Great spot for very well made
French Onion Soup. Terrific salad dressing was superb. Sandwich of pesto with guyere cheese was all that.

My husband and I stumbled across this spot after wanting to have breakfast for dinner but being a little too lazy to do it ourselves. We were so pleasantly surprised by this place! We came in within an hour of closing time, but the staff were so kind and gracious. We both loved our meals and look forward to coming back to try more delicious items off the menu! The pancakes were so delicious and it’s wonderful that they have an option where you can try all of them in 1 plate!

My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed a few days ago and we were looking for somewhere that simply served mashed potatoes. When we were looking at places online, this seemed like a cozy little option in Mission Hills. We arrived around 6: 00 p.m. On Sunday evening. While we parked across the street at a meter that was not in service, we later noticed that there appears to be a parking lot behind the cafe. There were only a few other diners at the time. Three of us ordered breakfast dishes and one ordered a burger. All of the food was very good. We also ordered lumpia which was a nice surprise and their spinach artichoke dip which was amazing. My daughter and brother each had an ice cream shake; one chocolate and one chocolate malt. The server kept our glasses full and checked in periodically. She was very nice and patient, especially considering she appeared to be the only one on duty. We did not have to wait long for any of our food for beverages. I think the only sins that the toilet paper was flipped around backwards. This reminded me of a cafe that we used to have around the corner from our house. I will definitely be coming back. And just for the record, no one actually ordered the mashed potatoes.

I used to love this place! But, it has gone downhill! The food is not the same and it took forever to get our food, only for it to be burnt and dry! So disappointed!

Great dinner! We ate outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. The bacon wrapped meatloaf was very good. The beef short ribs were also delicious. We would order both again. Bonus points because we made it in time for happy hour!

My group of 3 ordered the short rib French dip sandwiches and a meatloaf with mashed potatoes. The sandwiches were not bad, but nothing special either and definitely not worthy $20. The meatloaf was terrible. Very hard shell and meat didn’t taste quality. Overall all overpriced and we can make it better at home. Do not recommend.

Great dinner with breakfast served all day. The short rib dip sandwich is amazing and the meatloaf was so good. Funky vibe and has its own parking lot. Definitely worth a trip if you are in the area.

Bad food. The meatloaf arrived so burnt that it couldn't be cut and the waiter explained that that's how it is there. US$21 for burnt ground beef. I went for the Short Rib French Dip Sandwich, also priced at $21, and it wasn't worth it either. You know that place that leaves you in a bad mood at the first bite and in the end, when you pay, you feel like an idiot? And that. We certainly won't be back. Guy Fieri was in debt on this one.

Didn’t expect the sandwiches and side spring salad to be huge, it was a great surprise. Tuna melt was super tasty. Chicken pesto was okay. Side salad dressing was so good! Our kids didn’t like the chicken tenders, unfortunately. I would come again. Parking behind the building.
