Joy Dumpling reviews
18A restaurant with a very homey taste! Among restaurants of the same price range, this one has the best flavor, especially the XLB!
Great food. Fair prices. Wonderful staff. My last visit.my granddaughter spilled soup etc.the staff was there to help. Thank you.
My group was mixed on the flavor and service. We were particularly unhappy they can’t give us extra sauce our beef roll. I personally wouldn’t come back. It was fast service and nice inside.
Loved the spicy tripe! What a great experience!
A spacious, basic restaurant - but we came for the food, and it was great. Try it!
I love this spot and have been going here for a few years. So often that they know our order: 2 orders of pork and crab xlb, braised beef noodle, and beef rolls. Most recently tried their braised pork with steam buns and wow! Don’t forget the chili oil:) I look forward to continuing to support this business for years to come!
Messed up our orders. Not willing to admit error and replace a dish with something completely different and stated that the leek melted into the ingredients! Bad
The loofah xiao long bao is very good and delicious. The xiao long bao can’t compare with Din Tai Fung. Surprisingly, the fish fillet with chopped pepper tastes very good.
For its portion price, the money is reasonable
The food is good, the price is friendly, and the service is friendly, but don’t order fried noodles and noodle soup because the taste is really bad.
It is the third time visit this year. I didn't take any picture because you have to try by yourself. Seeing is believing.
Luffa and shrimp soup dumplings are average, if compared with dingtaifung; Dongpo pork with buns are pretty delicious in my opinion!
Loofah shrimp dumplings are really tasty! The soup from the three flavored noodle soup is very flavorable!
Came to this place thru some friend’s recommendation. They have the same restaurants from Fremont. Their food is good. They also have some regional dish Fremont don’t have.
It is rare to find non-salty dishes in the United States. There are many customers on weekends and we need to wait a while. Maybe there are so many guests, so the meal delivery speed is a bit slow. Then I am in a hurry to clear the dishes and clear the table. I have just taken away the last bite of food on the plate and immediately come to collect them. Take the plate
You may have ordered the wrong item for the first time, and you may not be used to the taste. I might try something else if I have a chance, but I won’t go there specifically.
This is my #1 xiaolongbao in the Bay Area.
Their pork filling is super soft and juicy. Flavor is light and refreshing. Each bao is relatively big so I can only finish 5-6 max in one sitting. Their dishes are a little heavier on ginger (which I love).
The servers are really attentive even though they’re busy. They’re blunt but not rude. It can get a little noisy since it’s just one big room.
Bathrooms are pretty clean, and there’s a separate one for only women.
Overall, reasonable dishes. The steamed dumplings were a bit above average. The pork belly with buns were quite good, missing a couple side ingredients, such as cilantro and grounded peanuts. The taro squid rice noodles pot was huge, okay taste, but the squids were a bit on the fishy side.
The soup dumplings are pretty good, loofah soup dumplings, taro rice noodles, fish-flavored eggplant, soybean sprouts, and tofu pot.
Two of the three rice balls they served weren't cooked. I was biting into hard skin.the gourd was cut longitudinally not transverse so the consistency/bite felt weird.good: lots of natural lighting, not cramped inside.soup dumplings have nice thin skin.
