J's Barbershop, Murrieta CA

My boys and I have been coming to J's for over 15 years. They are great with frightened and fidgety kids (mine, when they were little), and changing teen hairstyles (mine also!). They do excellent military haircuts and business style cuts as well (yep, mine too). I've never had a bad cut here and I never get itchy hair down the back of my shirt. Their barbershop has some cool themes as well, and they do great community service work in the valley. Def recommend!

Love it here! Won't go anywhere else! My husband, myself and my son all get our hair done by Nicole! Always very pleased with our service, very kid friendly!

Been going to that location for many years, was much better when it was Stews. I still like the haircuts but they don’t accept debit cards, and the ATM charges you if it’s not affiliated with your bank, and then your bank charges you too.

They don’t accept credit or debit but they also don’t have a functional ATM machine. The employees have said it’s hit or miss and I happened to come in at a time when it wasn’t working. I didn’t have cash on hand and had three little ones. I left disappointed and irritated. The staff said they have told the owner about the machine and yet here we are. I miss the old barber shop that was there before - Stews.

Never had a bad haircut and normally there is no waiting, at least that I have seen. They do great military cuts and offer a military discount.

Always a good experience and everyone is nice. The place is well kept and very clean each time I go. Doug the best barber I've had and he's great with the kids. I've been going here for a few years now.

All of the barber's are good but the guy I forget his name gave me the best fade I've gotten from any barber in Murrieta

DO NOT COME IF YOUR HAIR IS SHORT/CURLY They don't know what a taper is, they will cut your hair all in 1 length, they can't do a straight line up, and they will claim they can cut your hair saying they help a brotha out

We must have beat the rush and friendly staff. They did my son's hair for back to school. Oh and remember to take cash or check. They offer an atm machine.

Modern but vintage style barbershop! Great decor, lots of trains, and retro decor. My son loved this place. This is definitely where I will get his hair cut from now on. This is a cash only place, atmosphere is available in the loby.

I can never get the haircut I want. They have done a good job 3 times. There are always different hairstylist rather than barbers.
