First time on this trail. I rode my bicycle through the trail and it was fun. It has some hills, but nothing over bearing. There is a small residential lake along the path, which was nice to see. Over all this is a nice trail for what it is.

The Juanita Cooke Trail is a hidden gem for nature enthusiasts seeking a tranquil escape. This well-maintained trail offers a peaceful and scenic journey through lush landscapes, including picturesque meadows and groves of trees. With its moderate difficulty level, it provides a satisfying hike without being overly challenging. The trail’s serenity and natural beauty make it a perfect choice for individuals and families looking to reconnect with nature and enjoy a rejuvenating outdoor experience.

Easy to run/walk or ride your bike. I walk this trail 5 times a week. From the beginning of the trail to Imperial Highway and back is a little under 6 miles. Most people that ride the trail are on Mountain Bikes but I've seen 1 person on a Road Bike and 1 person on a Beach Cruiser.

Pretty flat, with some rocky sections. Great for walking with kids and dogs. Great for mountain biking, not ideal for non rugged strollers.

Nice walk but don't expect to see much wildlife until you get to the lake. The lake area itself is quite nice with ducks, turtles and some odd looking birds. I parked near a Chase bank as I didn't see a starting parking lot. Note that if you walk to the end of the lake, I would suggest you do walk back the same way you got there (the Juanita Cooke Trail) and not walk back through the Laguna Lake Park trail as after the park you will have to walk quite a bit on a busy street with no sideway.

Easy urban hike with very little elevation change with wide multi-use trails (walkers, joggers, bikes, horses and dogs) and a lot of regulars who use this trail at the same day/time each week. Trail length can be added to by adding in other local trails that meet up at or near this trail. The closest restrooms are by Laguna Lake.
