I ordered and received what was advertised on the website as a judo gi of 900 gsm. To anyone that doesn’t know what a true 900 gsm feels like, it should be thick and very heavy on the torso, back and arms. What I received was probably something closer to 400 gsm, considerably thinner and lighter. The invoice said I received the item I ordered, so it makes me believe they are falsely advertising what 900 gsm is. And if people don’t have anything to compare it to how would the know the difference. I don’t have a scientific method of testing the material, except for an honest comparison to the gi I already have that’s 900 gsm. I returned the item and received a refund in a timely manner.

The guys there are super nice. I was able to look at the different Judogis and select the right fit. He let me hold up the pants and try on the top before purchase. One of the guys guessed my size right off the bat. Genius. He definitely knows what he's doing. I bought a 1 size larger top than the pants. Perfect fit. Also, it held up fantastically in Judo class practicing throws and turtle groundwork. Actually, it was even better than other people's dogis that kept coming loose easier than mine. The belt never came loose either, but that has alot to do with knowing how to tie the knot in the traditional kimono manner properly. I got a single weave top with a double weave bottom. They both can withstand the full yank of a judoka repeatedly. It was really cool that the guys there were chill with me practicing my Japanese language skills with them. They're really nice people. For all these reasons, this is the best place to buy a dogi, and support their business. They also have a few other cool things to buy besides athletic wear.
