K3 Martial Arts Center, Roseville CA

This place is amazing. I can't recommend it enough. My daughter Kasey loves it and Johnny is the best with the kids.

We have had a great experience at K3. My son has gained a lot of confidence taking martial arts. He always gets great guidance from the instructors. Everyone there is super nice and helpful.

I love K3 Martial Arts! First started there over 13 years ago and still am loving the classes, experiences, and lessons being taught there! It's the best Martial Arts and Kids Camp program I know

Saysung Doyle and Sensei Johnny and all of the staff are absolutely amazing. The programs are amazing, everything from the karate to the summer camp is absolutely incredible. They work with our kid and he has made leaps and bounds since starting the program. I want to thank all the staff and I highly recommend K3MA.

Extremely happy with our experience with K3. The after-school program allows my older child to be picked up from school, get homework done, and participate in Karate every M, W, F. He has learned many different things these last few weeks: discipline, focus, confidence, and courage. He has received encouragement from Johnny and Doyle on pushing through, even in difficult situations and I appreciate their support in developing my child. I have been pleasantly surprised with our time here and only wish I had found them sooner!

Dragon Star (now K3) is a very interesting Karate place. During my time there I enjoyed a lot of the structure and exercise I got from there. However, the karate itself is clouded by many of the people who attended there. Many kids were disrespectful and clique. Also many of the instructors were biased and unprofessional. It was evident many of them were there for money at times. There are many great things there, but unfrotunately people and money constantly get in the way.

We LOVE K3 Martial Arts! They are Rock Stars and have a Unmatched Style when it comes to teaching kids. They build a Real connection with each child and really try hard to better each and every student in the class. I can't say enough good things about the Owner and Instructors. Thank you Soo much to the Whole K3 Team for really making a difference in our kids lives. I would Highly Recommend K3 to any parent who wants what's best for their child.

A shy little four year old started in this dojo. She is going on 10 and recently received her Jr. Blackbelt.
This dojo and the staff have not only taught her courage, determination, responsibility and accountability, it has taught her family the same. Being an only child with a single mom, we as grandparents wanted to make sure she could face the challenges that life would bring her. K3 has instilled many great qualities in our granddaughter. She is not afraid to stand up in front of people and express herself. She is not afraid to speak up if she sees something wrong. She has turned into a compassionate young lady with excellent study habits. She is excelling in school and loves to read. The encouragement this staff provides is amazing. The look on her face when she completed her mile in the time needed for her blackbelt and sparkle in her eyes when she received her certificate, well that is enough to show this dojo is there for our kids. Thank you K3 for your support and encouragement and time you dedicate to these kids and to us as parents.

The instructors there are very good about knowing what position you are in teaching you the next thing you need to know it’s also a great way to get in shape

Training at this dojo has been amazing. I look forward to class every week. I am excited about how strong and confident I have become as a result of training here.

Johnny had not been very professional he was rude to my child. My kid does not even want to return and more embarrassing I ask kindly to cancel they bill me a month ahead and stated they can’t accommodate my desire to cancel until I am able to sign in person
However they require online payment up front prior to their promised first three sessions which turn out to be a joke! Literally took 30 minutes to have my son stand on a line take his shoes off took his time meeting with another parent and speaking to coworker than cut us off at 18 mins
Second private lesson.he told my child to read, and repeat it take his shoes off and promised him a belt and uniform third class…still failed to keep the promise and cut private lesson to 20 mins
Scam and a joke if this person act in whole on behalf of the company has the worst integrity and unprofessional
There should have been a willingness to work with me especially if it had been something my son finally wanted to try an activity.

Very professional, my 11 year old twins loved it, and they actually got my 2 teenage daughters to smile when they are away from their phones!

Our son recently started at K3. His first 2 classes were with Johnny and my son LOVED it. He can't wait to go back. We struggle with getting out son to listen to instructions and Johnny was incredibly thorough. He was the perfect level of friendly while also holding the authority level my son needs in order to listen and respond. I was hesitant that my son wouldn't follow the commands in class but have been really happy to see that he has. I appreciate that K3 encourages the kids to follow the requirements in order for reward. This is incredibly valuable in a child's learnings of putting in hard work in order for the pay off. I really enjoy seeing the level of respect the students have in K3. The leaders care so much about the progress of the students and their achievements, that is very clear. We can't wait to continue with our classes!

I highly recommend K3 Martial Arts for fitness, self-defense, and self-confidence. Classes are well organized, intense, and cover real world scenarios. Sensei Johnny fosters an environment of hard work and supporting one another. Classes (at the time of this review) are all-belt and are structured so that students at all levels are supported and challenged. New students gain valuable skills right away.

From the start when I called to 11 months so far, everything has been well above expectations. Sensei Johnny has been professional and explained everything prior to signing up. Classes are extremely hard work, but fun. Great exercise while learning a skill, one I hope I never have to use, but a skill that is there if needed to protect my family and myself. I come early and watch some of the kids class prior to the adult class and all the instructors are engaging, encouraging, and professional while still having fun. Highly recommended!
