Wow! This is an operation. It is impressive how thoughtful and caring K9 Activity Club is! My dog was so happy and well taken care of. I am grateful!

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed boarding my pups here the last 5-6 years, I have seen a “refresher” of staff which sort of bums me out but I know people have to move on.:)
Maybe it’s just me but it seems very… robotic when I bring them now & pick them up. Like, “Ok, here’s the total, do you want to tip (? And there’s the guilt if you don’t tip, so you’re forced to tip on top of the service you received) & then here’s the dogs & bye.
I’ve had report cards generated which I’m sure are just a sweet sentiment but some of them have read completely wrong. My dogs hate water and they somehow enjoy the misters & one of them is not social, but he loves playing with his friends outside. (Lol!)
Just doesn’t feel personal anymore. I’m probably way too sensitive but it’s just the little things that make leaving your fur baby somewhere hard and when things feel transactional and like living wages aren’t met, it sort of deteriorates the experience.

We love K9AC. The crew is awesome and I love that they remind you about vaccines before coming in. It makes us feel safe bringing in our two pitties. They love it there and everyone is so kind to them! Honestly we would take them multiple times a month but it is a little pricey at $90 for both dogs for a day at daycare.

Our 8 month old dachshund puppy Arlo stayed for 3 nights at the K9 Activity and Social Club on the Playful Puppy package. This was in preparation for a much longer stay we are planning in November. Arlo adores playing with other dogs and had a wonderful time. We expected he might be disoriented after his first stay but he slipped back into his home routine without any fuss. Thanks for taking such good care of little Arlo.

Hank and I both absolutely adore K9 Activity Club and the staff. We participated in training, puppy socials, day care and boarding. Every person we have interacted with is very positive and passionate about what they do. They really get to know the dogs and care for them like their own. The communication has always been great. I am so grateful to have found them!

We are so grateful to Alicia Collins who runs the K9 Activity Club. We boarded our puppy for four weeks with some puppy pre-school included. We were so happy that our biggest training challenge with our pup was solved. Before boarding, our pup resisted walking further than a block. After her stay, she is walking as much as I want her to walk. Her positioning for "heel" and for "sit" is also much improved. She is no longer sitting, facing me, but sitting, facing forward, the same direction that I am facing. The duration of her "downs" has also lengthened considerably. When I say down, she now stays in "down" instead of popping up after she as soon as she gets her treat! We're so impressed!

I was also intrigued by the doggy "adventureland"-style dog park at the Club which has huge tires and culverts, half-buried in the ground for dogs to jump atop and practice sits, downs, and stays on. I would never have believed our short little staffy could jump/climb up so high up in the air and then obediently sit on top of these objects. I had also never seen a doggy treadmill before and had no idea our pup was capable of running at such high speeds!

Trainers Colby and Geraldine kindly provided me with crash course training sessions so I could learn how to work with our pup in more productive ways. From consistency in walking our pup on the left side, to asking her to sit in front of the door before walking over thresholds, to learning how I should properly hold the leash so my fingers won't get broken if the pup bolts away - I was taught what I was doing right and wrong after I returned to pick up our pup.

Though we live in Los Angeles, we will be bringing our pup up to the K9 Activity Club in Sebastopol the next time we have to go away for an extended period of time because we have found the right place for her. We know she will be in expert and trusted hands at the Club and that is the kind of peace of mind we need.

First time with Smokin Bear and had a good experience will be back next week. Great staff.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have found K9 Activity Club for my aggressive male Rottweiler (Bailey). When I first brought Bailey in for a consultation, he was displaying severe aggression towards other dogs and even some people. He required a muzzle just to make sure everyone was safe.

From the very first evaluation with Kobe, I was impressed by the staffs expertise and dedication. They immediately put my fears at ease and assured me that with the right training and guidance, my Rottie could make great progress. He was able to remove Bailey’s muzzle the first day and we never looked back.

Here are some highlights of our experience with K9 Activity Club:

1. Training Plan: Kobe took the time to assess my Rottweiler's specific issues and designed a tailored training plan just for him. He understood that my dog is unique and requires a personalized approach. They made it easy to get in our training sessions around by busy schedule.

2. Patience and Compassion: My Rottie was a handful, to say the least. But the entire staff displayed remarkable patience and compassion throughout our training sessions. They never gave up on him, even when his behavior was at its worst.

3. Clear and Effective Communication: Kobe, Ashley, and Henry are excellent communicators. They explained the training techniques clearly and made sure I understood every step of the process. This helped me maintain consistency when practicing at home.

4. Progress Beyond Expectations: The progress Bailey made with K9 Activity Club’s guidance was nothing short of astounding. He went from being dangerously aggressive to a more well-behaved and obedient dog immediately. I can now take him for walks in the park without fearing incidents with other dogs or people.

5. Post-Training Support: Even after our initial sessions were over, Ashley continued to provide support and guidance. They genuinely care about the well-being of the dogs they train and their owners.

I couldn't be happier with the results we achieved with K9 Activity. My Rottweiler's transformation is amazing, and it's all thanks to their expertise and dedication. If you're dealing with an aggressive or challenging dog, I wholeheartedly recommend K9 Activity and their training staff. They have a gift for working with dogs, and their commitment to their clients is exceptional. Bailey and I are now living a happier and more peaceful life together, and I can't thank them enough for that.

The staff here are AMAZING! My dog can’t wait to get out of the car when we arrive, she LOVES this place! And we both have learned so much and feel so much more confident going out in public around other dogs.

I pick Molly up this morning and as always she was happy and excited to see me. She loves going to the littles to play with the other puppies. She is always in a safe loving, caring environment every time she stays at the K-9 facility. I highly recommend anyone needing to board their dog and/or needing training for their beloved pet. Molly and I have always had an amazing experience every time we go. Thank you all so much for taking such loving care of my Molly.
