Kaiser Permanente Moreno Valley Medical Center

Had a medical emergency had to decide what hospital to take partners too. It takes 5 whole god forsaken minutes to get ER on the phone cause of this phone line that's just one of my griefs start. I'm sure there's blood on their policy makers hands for the bottle necks our 7 year old can tell is messed up.

OBGYN Department:

Dr. Bernhardt is a great OBGYN and surgeon! Out of all the three surgeons I had from my previous c-section. I can say Dr. Bernhardt took care of me very well. Now everyone is different in pain tolerance, I can say that my two previous c section where a hard recovery. But with Dr. Bernhardt, my pain was so minimum and I was able to recover quick! I incision healed so quickly (of course I did my part too by following Dr. Orders). I healed faster compared to my two previous C-section. My previous two surgeons where great too. I prefer and recommend Dr. Bernhardt to all the “soon to be mommy’s”. He is such an awesome OBGYN, he made me comfortable and answered all my concerns!

I was admitted here after attempting suicide. One of the staff members told me I had to “think twice before I do something”. Then they sent me to a horrible psychiatric center after telling me I would talk to a psychiatrist again before they decided. They didn’t contact my family prior. They have a subcontract with the Pacific Grove Hospital in riverside which is where I was sent. They didn’t give me any messages from my family and I would go fulls days with my family not knowing what was going on. This is the third time I’ve felt violated by Kaiser. One time included being examined in an urgent care waiting room in front of other patients. I’ve made a complaint before but no response. Kaiser does not care about their patients.

I went to the ER on 11/14/2022 this place has the worst staff. They don’t care about people at all, also they’re all rude even the doctors. I asked one nurse how long have you been a nurse she said for 13 years but it’s hard for her to show compassion when it’s to busy for her and that they are short staffed. It sounds like the staff needs to retrain on how to treat patients, and staffed properly. Remember if it’s not for us they don’t have a job. I remember another time I had to take my mom up there and they lost her and almost gave her the wrong medication. If I wasn’t in there right on time who knows what would have happened. The only nice person that helped me was the guy who took my X-ray.

I've had a couple of surgeries there and each time the entire staff treated me like I was the only patient there!

ER is the worst. Have been waiting for 4 hours. There are multiple empty beds and rooms and there are less than 3 people waiting to be seen. They continue to do regular checks but have you waiting in the waiting room with the doors open in the freezing cold. If you’re in pain that do not care. This is by far the worst ER I’ve ever been too. DOWNEY and RIVERSIDE would never treat their patients like that.

I can say this has been the worst visit to the hospital.

I've waited 3+ hours for the nurse to take my blood

Ask for the results of the xray they took
And every nurse roll there eyes when ask a question

Worse medical help
Worse then hemet hospital

I came for answer

Waited almost 5 hours

And got nothing

I got there by ambulance, didn't get checked in, no wrist band, after 2 hours in the hallway, I was told that there was no beds, was there almost 12hrs, had lots of test, for each, I had to ask for the next one, same way to get the results, even their own employees said that THIS HOSPITAL IS A JOKE! Save your life, Don't go there! PLEASE!

I’m just your average man, 4’11 670lbs.but the people here bodyshamed me and when i was finally given a bed after 3 days of waiting it was the worst bed in the building which broke after i laid down. When i would ask for food which i only did 23 times a day they beat me until i was numb. They then denied me service and left me in the cold room to rot. After i finally escaped I became a lumberjack and started my own life with my loving wife.

Horrible service. Careless staff. DO NOT GO.

My mother was hurt at her work and went to this hospital to get checked. She didn’t get the doctors name, but my mom slipped and fell at her job, they had her in the waiting room for two hours in pain and the dr came to see her in the waiting room? !? Not only that but she refused to give my mother an X-ray and was rude to her. Made my mom feel like her pain wasn’t worth treating. My mom went home in pain never got to a room.
On top of that she was being pushed by her husband in a wheelchair and the security tried to kick her husband out. Stating they don’t allow visitors and they can push her around if need be? My mom was stating how much in pain she was after two hours and they didn’t even give her a Tylenol.

Iv been to a few emergency rooms and I have to tell you this one is by far the best. The team was so caring and made me feel so comfortable for my situation. The surgery team Was also very nice and my OB made me feel like I was in good hands. The only one who wasn’t very nice or caring was the girl at the check in desk. I told her I was bleeding out and have been for the last hour and she had zero care in the world! She told me I could just stand if I didn’t wna sit she also was on a personal call when I came in. Not perfessional at all.

Jason (RN), who worked at graveyard shift, was very helpful
and a dedicated nurse. I saw his compassion for the patients,
and understanding their priority ta the registration counter.

It’s becoming very annoying to see that Kaiser has turned its self into a community hospital Kaiser use to be clean building fast service short check in/pharmacy lines same day appointment when you actually needed them now kaisers are so over crowded long lines having to schedule appointments months out and now they’ve made a deal with newsome on a $1.7 billion expansion in riverside will allow more medical people to use Kaiser for health care at the cost of us paying for our health care I think Kaiser glory days are done and I and many others will be looking for new health insurance cause I will not continue to support sell outs!

The best GI department! I have no words to express gratitude for GI Dr Ong and everything she’s done for me in the past year to help me eat again. Every medicine and procedure were exactly what I needed and I really liked that they are following new trends and I was able to get a medicine that was just approved by FDA for eosinophilic esophagitis. The whole department exactly knows what they are doing. When I get a medicine I expect to work right away and I was treated that way!

I gave birth here in February and while the staff was great and my birth went ok, their rules are pretty inhumane. I was only allowed to bring my husband in and nobody else and was not allowed to record my own birth or take pictures. For a first time mom this was a terrible experience for me and I’ll never deliver at Kaiser again. If this happened to you as well please contact me to join in the lawsuit I’ll be filing soon, I hope nobody else has to experience a birth like this.

This is a small hospital that's still growing. You might want to be prepared to be patient and follow all health and safety protocols because the staff nurses and doctors are all fantastic. I recently had a shoulder surgery here and even the people who called me on the phone to do intake made me feel like family. The pre-op nurses are kind, the surgical nurses are capable and made me feel like I was in good hands. My surgeon and the anesthesiologist came and listened to my questions and made me feel comfortable. The post op recovery nurses are saints. I received a follow up phone call from my nurse to check on me and give me advice. I also just received a get well card in the mail signed by my nurses. I feel really well cared for and I can't express how dedicated and amazing the people are here.

We are her today bacause primary care Dr. Disgnosed my husband w an illness 1 week ago she was suppose to prescribe meds to start traetment. She never did.he woke up in pain this Am we head to emergency on Iris.got here at 8am tests were done its 1;11pm still have not seen a Dr.very disappointed w Kaiser.this could of been avoided if primary care would of followed up. Family must wait outside. Its super hot.they have a big fan and let you use restroom inside. This is an all day wait. I know they do what they can but when Do Not do their job like following up.it not right. KAISER only till Dec 2022. We were thinking of getting Kaiser medicare no way bad experience
