Kaiser Permanente Pharmacy, Santa Clara CA

I live 2 block from Union City Kaiser they strike Out 75% on have my prescription In stead I would much drive 20 minutes to the Fremont Kaiser pharmacy they always have them

Poor management! All staff seem to be “on drugs, ” slow in response, slow in processing requests, slow in fulfillment. Visited this location, Rm 138, and waited 50 minutes. Provided MRN and the clerk ask “why are you here? ” Umm … Hello, this is a pharmacy! You want me to order a Hamburger? Also, Staff kept providing excuses for delayed service; “we lost 1 of your prescription (it was in our system earlier Blah blah blah) we need to call your doctor …, ” we are Rushing your order {20 minutes later & still can’t pick up}, another clerk informs us …”oh, it is ER discharge time …”we need to delay your pick up for 60 minutes. ” What the Heck? Another 60 minutes.
Just closed this “Circus Tent” down! These people do not value your time nor your patronage. Really POOR Customer Service skills. NO status display monitor. 4 previous customers got their prescriptions AND 6 NEW customers also got their prescriptions BUT we still needed to wait. Something is definitely not in order! The staff are clueless and careless of your time and needs. I guess it is just a 9 - 5 job for them.

Please “Replace this location” with Walgreens OR CVS; I know certainly you don’t have to wait 50 minutes at Walgreens! And they don’t loss your order … Terrible Terrible People!

There are two pharmacies at this Kaiser location. This one is in the Hospital, at 700 Lawrence, Room 138.

This is the one you want to go to after hours, because the other one closes with normal business hours.

It was empty at 9pm, so service was very fast.

Kaiser rocks!:) The employees against overwhelming odds always remain calm and helpful! Love Kaiser!

Need a second pharmacy or more staff… everyone’s really nice and helpful but crazy long wait times. Also it took me 30 min to find parking…

Kiaser actually has about 4 different pharmacies within its hospital. If you opted to pick up from the 24/7 discharge pharmacy. That one is located within the main hospital building and it’s in room 138 all the way in the back. When I went there was no line and 3 people visibly available including two pharmacists. I was in and out pretty quickly. What I struggled with was finding which pharmacy I was suppose to pick up my prescription from. It would be great if the KP app could tell us the name of the building followed by the room number.

But the worst service in the pharmacy is a delay of hours to pick up a medicine in the first place for people who need it urgently.

There are folks who's job is make sure people make sure they wear a proper mask. This is their job. As I see it, it is not only a thankless job but a stressful job. I saw people walk in and snap with venom at employee. It's time for people to act like adults.

Not a large place, but lines do move along. Service friendly. But still recommend drugs by mail if that option is available, otherwise drop off your prescription order and come back straight to the pickup line later.

The people at the registers are perfectly decent so I feel a bit bad about the one star rating, but I've been with Kaiser for over a year and there has been some issue with every month.

Whether it's something "getting stuck" in the system, the pharmacy being busy, unexplained lost refill requests, or surly pharmacists, I have never had an easy experience here and I can't stand it any more, I won't be going back.

I was told just yesterday that the pharmacist would "try to find out why my order was stuck, but he was only working for forty more minutes. " He promised the his supervisor would call me today but that didn't happen.

They're too busy and too understaffed to do anything correctly or have proper customer service. Sorry, but I'm disgusted by their lack of organization and care. Will be filing a formal complaint.
