Kaiser Permanente Redwood City Medical Center Emergency Room reviews
4 I have only been to the emergency room once. It was 2 years ago. I was very sick with a plethora of symptoms. Had a doctor’s appointment but was too sick for her to treat. They wheelchaired me over to emergency and I was seen immediately. They had a team working on me right away taking X-rays and starting IVs.
They had me diagnosed and started treatment within the hour. I think they saved my life! They were amazing.
Place was great! Took great care of my wife. I would have gave it 5 stars if it wasnt for the securitas security they have onsite. These guys are very rude and don't know much about the hospital. Was sent outside when she was going through surgery instead of allowing me to sit in the surgery waiting room like the nurse had told me to do. I Was able to make my way there and wasn't asked anymore questions by hospital staff.plz re train your staff and make them knowledgeable on what is and isn't allowed in the businesses they are working for.
Would not advise going to if you’re in a real emergency. Have been waiting in the lobby for 3 hours now. Things are poorly run with 1 nurse responsible for all incoming patients, meanwhile they have no less than 8 security guards wondering about for some reason.
Was admitted in the hospital because I had an issue. The staff was wonderful. From check in to check out they exceeded in their duties. Very well taken care of. And they did swab before they stuck me with a needle. Another place didn't. Thank you Kaiser. And I very much dislike hospitals. I hate shots. But I was not at all upset/questioning at all here.
