Dr. Tatevossian is PHENOMENAL. She treats me with the utmost care, kindness and compassion! Nurse Julie that checked me in was soooooo wonderful! She is courteous, kind and really knew her stuff! No one has ever treated me as well as she! Love this team! Thank you!

Kaiser epitomizes "managed" health. You can't even say healthcare because the focus is clearly on managing profits and doing as little as possible for any actual "care. " If you have a cold or a flu, their doctors can probably do something because its rather cheap to send you to the pharmacy. But anything serious that will actually cost them money and the company will manage it in a way to avoid doing anything to actually treat the person.

Need to see a specialist? Good luck with that. Want to be able to talk directly to someone other than a nurse or your assigned primary care physician? Welcome to email hell because even their communication systems are designed to save as much money as possible without any consideration for actual effective communication with the patient and doctor. But this is America, where healthcare ethics take a backseat to making sure stockholders get their dividends.

You'd think how much Americans brag about how great their healthcare system is, Kaiser doctors would actually be able to diagnose and treat a patient. Whether through sheer incompetence, priority given to saving Kaiser money rather than upholding their supposed hippocratic oath, or the company's accountants tying their hands, Kaiser doctors are probably the most useless individuals you can spend 8 minutes seeing.

Of course, reviews of health care companies are rather pointless since you don't really have too many choices for health insurance if any in a given geographic area.

This is one of the worst urgent care facilities I've been to with Kaiser. Kaiser overall has been slowly declining in the way they treat patients (the time spent with each patient), wait times, availability of appts. They don't have to capacity to properly and effectively treat patients. And it shows. I am so disappointed this is my health insurance. I've had them since my teens, almost 20 years. It's horrible. This is what my job provides.

BEWARE OF RECEPTION DESK THEFT FROM SENIORS.
My senior parents visited this location today for a checkup of my sick dad. They checked in and paid their copay in cash to Frank at the check-in/reception desk. My parents did not request a receipt for check-in, so Frank seemingly pocketed the cash and never checked my dad in.

After waiting an hour and not being called back my parents went to the desk to ask why and another individual informed them that they had never checked in, when in fact they had an hour prior which they explained to this person. Frank was nowhere to be found to explain and the desk was no help in ensuring my parents were seen. They left without the checkup.

*Always ask for a receipt if paying in cash at this location. *

Had a very bad experience with Madeline Sanchez this week. I am new to Kaiser and have been working with my primary care, dieticianan, and endocrinologist, on my previous insurance. I changed jobs and am now with Kaiser. I set a video appointment. Dr Sanchez was late and did not know how to work the video so she just used audio. I briefly explained I had been working with the above specialists for 3 years and was on a medication that stopped in June, the medication is very expensive even with coverage and that I'd need to discuss options for lower cost medications. She asked "do you have a diagnosis" then said "you'll get a call from your referral" total call was 2 minutes and 30 seconds. I was surprised at how little time of day I was worth to her. Few days later I get a call. She'd referred me to a weight management class. Dismissing my 3 years journey, dismissing my expressed need for the treatment plan I'd been on, and essentially implying that I'm simply not educated and need to start at the beginning. I followed up again to request a referral to an endocrinologist since I need medication not a class, and her office replied "patient was given appropriate referral and declined". Now looking for a new primary care and hoping they actually hear me and pretend to care about my health. Kaiser gets more than 1 star because member services was very helpful in directing me to getting the issue filed and helping me find a new primary care.

Their services have continued to go downhill over the years. Poor follow up regarding emails. If you do get a reply, it’s typically from a nurse who doesn’t reply with anything worthwhile. It’s terribly difficult to talk to someone to schedule an appointment and scheduling online is a joke!

I came for covid swabbing on a Sunday because the site says they're open Sunday. I come before a wedding and everything's closed. I go inside to ask and the employee tells me it's been like that for 3 weeks and panorama is the only facility swabbing on Sunday. I need this swab for a procedure and I could've planned to go to panorama city if I had known they were been closed. Update your information kaiser!

I went a few days the doctors were excellent but the lobby/office people on the first floor were the rudest I’ve ever seen definitely not great for them.

Kaiser Permanente overall is frustrating. I've been a doctored microbiologist and an immunologist in the medical field for over 5 years and KP is a nightmare. Getting a simple prescription transfer requires at least 2 hours on hold on the phone. There's only one pharmacy you can go to in the entire SCV region which is the KP pharmacy. No CVS, Rite-Aid, Walgreens, etc. When trying to get a doctor's appointment online the website will say there are no doctor appointments available for the next 8 months but if you call them they are all of a sudden available. I finally got an appointment just to get 3 simple medicines refilled and the physician was so insistent that I get my blood checked for everything (vit. D deficiency, cholesterol, hormones, etc.) which was not needed. I stated I just had a physical 8 months ago. These unnecessary blood tests cost $290. I left KP this year. In my 18 years of health insurance experience I never wish this on my worst enemy.

I have had kaiser since I was born up until a yr ago when I lost my insurance with them because I left my job and my new job didn't have kaiser, my husband added me to his kaiser insurance recently and I wanted to schedule an appointment based on their believe me policy and one person in financial dept named Felipe kept refusing to let anyone schedule an appointment for me for HIGH RISK OB I mentioned to him I was 25 wks pregnant, high risk and also have a health condition that affects my baby and he kept refusing to schedule me eventho the kaiser on sunset had no problem scheduling me he wanted a letter 4rm my husband's company stating I had coverage ok I sent it, then he still refused because it didn't say kaiser ok can you still schedule me and I'll work on getting tyat letter he still refused I asked to speak to his supervisor he said they're in a meeting and I sleep for their name and number so I can call them & he also refused and said I can just call him back and he'll transfer me! WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED IN MY LIFE!

The nurse there name carmen roxas is very rude.had me and my husband wait to give my baby boy his shots.walk pass by her sitting there at her desk not doing nothing because we were 5 mins late to his appt. Was rude to me from the beginning saying I have to be on time also said u are luck we saw u today. I was on time its was not my fault the line was long. I'm going to report her she is so unprofessional and has no manner. In area 105

The WORST experience I have ever had with any medical practice ever! I am stuck here and can’t leave until open enrollment so that’s not fair but once I leave I will never come back. My OBGYN messed up on my cesarean and now I have a deformed looking incision area, that is still slightly open after 9 months post baby! Among many other issues! I absolutely loathe Kaiser Permanente! I wish I had listened to everyone who tried to warn me.

My appt was at 9: 10am. Kaiser tells us to be there 15min early. I am of course. But who cares when your appt is overdue and then they come out and say it will be even longer, about 20 more minutes. So I will have been here an hour before I am even called in just for the nurse to do the weight, height, vitals, etc.then wait for the doctor. My appt I had to be here for at 8: 55am now doesn’t even start until after 10am. Stop over-scheduling or higher more specialists if you cannot treat patients properly. This is for the new building 2.

It is impossible to get through to anyone here. I've dealt with the infuriatingly useless phone system multiple times just trying to speak to someone various days and times. I'm just trying to cancel an appointment and there isn't even a phone option for that and I never get through to a human. You'll have a no show for a vaccine 4/12 at 3: 40pm because I've put in way more time and effort than was deserved trying to actually cancel that appointment

Absolutely terrible people. My child is very ill and they refused to allow me to go in with her. They are causing her undue stress at a delicate time in her life. THIS TREATMENT WILL CAUSE LASTING EFFECTS. Its open enrollment time. And we will be looking elsewhere! You should try to treat people with respect!

Please do NOT use Kaiser. I have been with them since I was 18 off my parents insurance. Not ONE TIME did they make getting my birth control pills a simple process. They were always late, by several days. Not only that I knew there was something wrong with my body and I got checked up, the doctor came in for less then 5 mins.and said there was nothing. I go back in shortly after and turns out I had a major medical issue that should’ve been treated when the first doctor had seen me (but she was leaving for vacation that day so she was in a hurry.) TERRIBLE service. Birth control pills are NEVER something that should be taken late.
