We had a traveling nurse tonight. My daughter’s father is dying. She was such a breath of fresh air for me and my kid. Thank you, Nora. It made all the difference.

My sister went to the ED at this hospital last week on 2/13/23 with chest burning and pain in both arms, blood pressure 190/ and was told that her EKG was nonspecific and that she most likely had a virus. No lab work was done; she was given a shot of Ibuprofen. While she was there, no mention was made about her extremely high BP. The MD was Mark LaGrave.
She came to Portland OR a couple of days later to visit me and ended up at Providence St. Vincent Hospital with an Acute MI (Heart attack) and 3 stents were placed. Her symptoms were classic Cardiac symptoms (the same symptoms that she reported at Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa Medical Center)

If I could give 0 stars I would! Worst care ever provided by Kaiser in Santa Rosa. They don't return messages in a timely manner. Doctor's don't call when you schedule an urgent tele appointment. Nobody follows through on your care. They are not proactive with your care at all! There are never any available appts. You never get the same doctor. Your actual PCP never has time for you. It's been over a year since I saw my PCP. You just get passed around. Unacceptable!

So incredibly disappointed with them. I called because I was sick and needed to see a doctor. They refused to see me for 2 weeks and my only option was to go to the ER. 6 hours and $500 later I had pneumonia. And no way to pay this bill that they forced on me with completely inadequate care. I pay them a fortune every month for what?

I have been bullied by security and have had nurses do the same thing. I don't feel safe going to the emergency room at all. The staff and security scare the heck out of me. I try to go to another er only to be sent back to Kaiser Permanente.

I’ve been going to this Kaiser for most of my 37 years of young life. I love that everything is under one roof, but since COVID same day or even same week in person Dr visits are hard to come by. A lot of people have been going to the ER because some appointments are weeks out and the clinic is always scheduled full.

Parking seems to be problem here, I often see cars driving around and around. Kind staff and clean.

There mental health system is not adequate for the amount of patients suffering from lack of care or service.

Typical Kaiser facility.
Laboratory, imaging, pharmacy, hospital, ER etc are all on-campus. Most of the primary care physicians are elsewhere now, but other than routine visits you can get most of your medical care needs met at this location

Very efficient and clean, and void of people the phyciatric dept has rows of new desks with new phones and monitors and no people. I spent an hour waiting on a loved one seeking help. I hear the usual phone ringing and office gossip. I never saw the two voices that I heard but I could tell they were worried about the future. That day several messages ago was eye opening it's this simple if you need phyciatric care don't go to Kaiser. Those two voices I heard I wonder if they are still there.
Will the last person to let please turn off the lights.

Worst hospital ER I think I've ever seen. I have worked in a hospital ER as a tech and registration, and have never seen anything like this. I arrived at 1030am, on a Tuesday. At about 1200, I went to the front desk to see if they forgot about me, as I was having pretty bad flank pain, and have been getting over multiple UTIs. So I'm thinking Kidney infection. The lady at the front desk, said they r busy, blah, blah blah, and I said yes I get it but my pain is getting worse and I haven't even been triagged yet. The one lady looked shocked that I hadn't been triagged and the other lady has the nerve to say well if your talking it must not be that bad! I'm sorry, but if you work in healthcare and you don't have any empathy or compassion for a pt that is in pain, then You SHOULD NOT BE here! Now it's been almost 4 hrs later because they told me to wait for my lab results and still nothing. The front desk people are useless and knows nothing about even trying to help. They are just bodies there. Also every person that was here when I got here and after are gone from the lobby. The only person I'll give kudos to was the lab tech who drew my blood.

Parking is terrible. Other than that, it's a busy place, that's clean and easy to get to.

Went in for heavy menstrual bleeding and all i received was pain meds and nothing to help the bleeding. My obgyn would schedule me for an appointment for a biopsy then leave the area and have to reschedule. So i was bleeding for 4 months been in and out of the er. I asked to see another obgyn and she didn't give me any Anastasia meds and started the biopsy. Just a few scratches in, it felt like i wanted to scream and cry. It took Kaiser 6 months before finally getting the biopsy done. My bleeding got so heavy i had to resort to adult diapers. It was so emotionally embarrassing and painful. To top it they never diagnosed me properly in the 6 months or after the biopsy.

If you want an appointment with the mental health department good luck. You will have to wait a month or longer just to talk to someone. Your apts will be canceled without you knowing. You will be put on way to many meds you don’t even need (my new dr is great and took me off ALL 7 meds I didn’t need). You will be misdiagnosed. When you need an urgent apt they tell you the on call dr is on vacation and there’s no one to see you. You fight and beg for and apt with a new physiatrist it takes them 2 weeks to get a change of provider approved and get you an apt a month down the road. You file complaints? Good luck at someone actually contacting you to fix the problem. You call the front desk of the mental health department one day they say they are unable to book you an apt so I need to talk to the nurse. You call, leave them messages, they don’t call back. You leave your therapist a VM. No call back. You call a week later to figure out what’s going on and now the front desk CAN make an apt but it’s for the 26th of July and today is June 17th. You explain to them that you had an apt get canceled on the 8th without your knowledge and you REALLY need to talk to your therapist and they say there’s nothing they can do. So you ask to speak to a supervisor and she takes 20 min trying to find one and they come back to say he’s too busy to talk so he’ll call you back. You ask if he is actually going to call you back because your phone calls are never returned. Say says she can’t promise you that he’s going to call you back. So you wait and wait. It’s now 6: 21 on a Friday and not one person has called you back.
Yes I’ve filed many complaints. Do they do anything about those complaints? NO! I’ve asked to be called back about my complaints and has anyone called me back? No. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this either. Get it together Kaiser! I’ve had MANY workers tell me they CANNOT help me.

Mostly disappointed when I come here. I can't complain about all of the staff, but the ER staff gets a failing grade 99% of the time. I'm sure some are over worked, but no doubt some are just warm bodies put in to fill a gap. I wonder if the big wigs at Kaiser have this insurance? I am dropping kaiser for blue shield, ASAP.
