Ophthalmologist Dr. Doshi and Dr. Vaughn and pretty much every ophthalmologist I’ve encountered here have been extremely nice, helpful, and reassuring. Even when I came last minute they took me in and I am very grateful for that. Thank God for them.

Went in with a client who has disability and the lady very rudely said to my client, "CAN'T YOU READ ME THE NUMBERS, on his phone. You shouldn't assume people can read, even numbers.absolutely the rudest lady. Rose Green, if you don't like your job. Find another. Horrible customer service.

Usually a pleasant experience for checkups, however, this time felt a little odd. Any time I leave the house during COVID period is already a stressful, anxiety induced time for me personally because I do my due diligence to remain healthy. My doctor wanted to check up on a few things so I came in for an appointment.

I arrived early to my 2pm appointment and they were doing temperature checks at the door. Okay, standard, but if you remember anything about Labor Day weekend, it was HOT everywhere. I checked in at 100 degrees. The lady at the front seemed flustered, so she asked me to stand to the side.

The next three patrons were allowed to enter without issues. 1) father and son both registered at the same temperature, 100 degrees. I was maybe 8 feet away and heard her comment (rather, an excuse) that it was hot outside and gave them a screened sticker, They did not wait. 2) An employee came back from lunch and was not screened. Person was not screened since they were an employee, so person did not wait. 3) A woman walked up and I can’t remember if she entered before me or not, but she was allowed to enter without issue.

I waited on the sidelines to “cool down” for about 5 minutes. I wasn’t counting and honestly, I was still reeling from shock at whether I was discriminated against or not. I was the only person that had to wait and “cool off”. She rechecked my temperature and it read as 99 degrees and gave me a screened sticker. At this point, I really just wanted to proceed with my appointment and leave.

That was a first I have experienced during COVID EVER and it makes me want to avoid Kaiser for the foreseeable future.

This review is regarding my visit with Dr. Ted Ting-Hsiang Lee (his last name was spelled "Li" on my check in slip) following a cauliflower ear injury from the previous night. It is common knowledge that a cauliflower ear injury is time sensitive (must be treated within 3 to 4 days otherwise there will be permanent damage/scarring). He met with me for about 3 to 5 minutes (quickly checked my ears with a scope and examined the bump on my ear), and simply stated there's nothing I can do and told me to do "compresses" without any further explanation as to how long the compresses should be or the process for doing so. He started typing his report, so I asked him for a referral to an ENT since the injury grew overnight. He said I didn't need one. I insisted since ENTs tend to cauliflower injuries, so he left the room (without telling me the appointment was over) and his nurse came in and helped me make an appointment on the phone. While making the appointment, I received an e-mail from Kaiser regarding my "past" visit while sitting in the room with the nurse. I told the nurse that Dr. Ted Ting-Hsiang Lee never explained how to do the compresses or what he meant by that since it was vague and ambiguous. The nurse grabs Dr. Ted Ting-Hsiang Lee who then states something to the effect of "grab a hot towel and apply pressure three to four times per day. " I respond, "for how long? " He says "10 minutes. " He then left again and my appointment was over. I called Kaiser to see another physician today and will be going back to obtain a second opinion. Dr. Ted Ting-Hsiang Lee failed to explain how many days I should do these compresses. Really apathetic doctor. I filed a grievance with Kaiser, and will file a complaint with the medical board and send a demand letter to Kaiser's agent for service of process for any permanent damage sustained by Dr. Ted Ting-Hsiang Lee's negligence.

My primary physician and back up physician Grace Hsiao-Yun Chang Broderick, MD and Christine Moon Do, D. O, respectively, are fantastic so this review does not pertain to them, as these doctors take the time to examine and thoroughly explain procedures to help remedy the medical condition.

If you're trying to get glasses, go to Warby Parker instead. The vision essentials staff failed to measure my eyes correctly and the lenses were messed up. They don't answer their phone, they told me my replacement glasses were ready to pick up when the whole order hadn't arrived. I've been to this vision essentials now 4 times, and I STILL haven't got my glasses! At least 1 more trip will be needed, and this location isn't open on weekends so they require you to go during normal working hours. The staff is disgustingly inept, go somewhere else!

Lab/Blood draw opens at 7: 30am in case you need to know. Usually not very busy when they first open, not sure how it gets during the day. Otherwise I’m in and out fairly quickly.

I learned that Kaiser Permanente is run by the Rothschilds family yes this is so odd how companies we work for these days gives us no choice but to be stuck with Kaiser they are far above the worst health care even when i was on Medicaid they respected me alot but this Kaiser is terrible.

Saw "Dr. " Goya. Went in for a specific problem. She never addressed my issue after I told her why I was there.now 3 weeks later I look at my report and she wrote that I did not mention any specific issues. Complete disregard for my health and well being. Will never visit this "Dr" ever again. Totally makes me want to drop Kaiser.

Limited parking space. The staffing is knowledgeable, helpful and informative. I guess this is what you expect normally from a hospital:)

Nice new facility, parking and layout is odd though, make sure you drive to the back of the building where the entrance is. Also, if using handicapped parking it is in the rear side and not in front when you pull in (unless you are going to the services in the back of the building which is actually the front. Staff is very nice, super efficient, minimal wait times. I'll go back, I just hope they correct the signage and parking issues.

It is impossible to see a Dr.for an urgent condition such as an eye infection that is threatening your vision! The appointment desk and nurses give you the run around, and will only let you schedule an appointment days later. They will try to reach the Dr's office, but of course no one will respond to phone calls! Horrible patient care!

All of these 5 star ratings talk about it being convenient and clean. That doesn't matter if you can't see your Dr.for the medical help that you need!

Convenient location 1 block SW of the Market Place in Irvine & Tustin. Few people know this new Kaiser, so it is less crowded. We often get appointment today or next day, but no weekends, so 4 stars.
Michelle Dr is easy to miss. Please look for LA Fitness on Jamboree Rd, just south of Freeway 5 ramps.
Open Monday - Friday, but closed weekends & holidays. Medical Offices & Optical Center 7: 30 am - 6: 00 pm. Pharmacy 9: 00 am - 6: 00 pm.
