6If you are looking for a boost while in Oakland, come to Kanna. When I walked in, the owner greeted me with a smile that melted away all the stress of the day, and warmed my soul. The bud tender was genuinely kind and AMAZING to work with, offering me exactly what I came in for + the special that soothed me the moment I smelled the beautiful flowers. I told them I was a teacher and had survived the last day of school, and they went to the back to give me a care package to say thank you for the work I do in the world, and it meant a lot. They invited me to a BBQ for Memorial Day, and I felt like I was coming home in a way… in every way. Thank you, Kanna, for being family with me. I needed that love and if I could give ten stars, I would.
