Dr. Khoo is cool. She's very straight to the point and I was looking for a way to help you. Sometimes a little too busy to see you. Not open on weekends is something I don't like. Also I live in the East Bay so it kind of sucks with all her referrals being in San Francisco which sucks cuz I work and live in the East Bay now. But she's a good doctor and I like seeing her

Any 10 year old child could be an General Practitioner or internist. Not all MDs are equally bright. It doesn't take a genius to insert a speculum and obtain swab sample. I don't know why certain obscure tests are ordered under complete panel. It doesn't take a genius to record a weight or use a blood pressure device or take a pulse or look up a nose with an otolarynscope.

Dr Khoo has been my primary physician for the past 6+ years. I am fortunate to not have had any major medical issues in that time, so I've only had to see Dr Khoo once or twice a year for my annual check-up. She has a large office on Geary Street (street parking on Geary isn't too bad if you have to drive there.) She recently brought on an RN to her team as well, which makes for lots of care when you come in, even for your regular annual. Dr Khoo offers pithy, well-informed care and guidance, and I appreciate that she's very straight forward with her answers. I don't need to be best friends with my doctor, or want her to be super chatty or social during my visits: I want available, timely care from a professional and that's exactly what I get from Dr Khoo.
