In these difficult times for those in the food service industry, I have got to give great kudos to the entire crew at Karl Strauss Sorrento Mesa and all the other Karl Strauss restaurants too. They have consistently kept up the great quality food and service. I've been here twice this week and they just don't skip a beat getting things right! THANKS!

Lovely setting, great choices, very good food especially for the prices. Ordering is done online after scanning QR code for menu. Be sure to specify appetizer to come out first in special instructions unless you want it at same time as main dishes.

Great food selection, and tasty food.

Everyone was wearing a mask, but there were a few people eating to go orders on the patio. Easy to avoid though if you're just picking up food.

Great food & beer. I ordered the fish n chips and lady got the beyond burger. My fish was crisp and crunchy outside, but buttery and delectably moist beneath the batter. Fries were a little on the salty side, but that's what beer is for. Our server was a sweetheart and brought us extra tasters to pair with our orders. The garden is lush and there is even a koi pond.

First time I went to this location. The Japanese garden and koi fish pond is really nice and enjoyable view. Very friendly bar tender and enjoyed my drinkI just wished they open longer business hours on weekdays also.this place is casual restaurant but also it's romantic at night.

Superb little menu! Thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The atmosphere was great and the setting was beautiful. Excellent beer as well!

Great food, got a Guajillo Shrimp Tacos plate. The chicken quinoa rice bowl was very good too but a little bit on the spicy side

Ok, so for starters, I absolutely love everything about Karl Strauss! They have an amazing atmosphere inside with a nice rustic touch and feel. The food is always amazing and well worth the price. Now, onto the beer, I have only had better once before in my life, and it's a VERY close call. I very, very highly recommend trying this place at least once and then you will see what I mean.

Family friendly environment. Very open and modern. Food was hot and quickly served. Perfect for business and personal events.

It was actually a pretty good place that atmosphere came off a bit crowded, but that's most likely because I went there with my husband to his company Christmas party. The chicken was delicious he absolutely loved his pork chops and the Terra massu was the perfect ending to a fun evening.
I forone do not drink alcohol but my husband tells me that beer is great.

Had our office holiday brunch here a couple of weekends ago. Good brunch menu! I didn't know they even did that. There was music, excellent spread of food, mimosas and obviously beer. Definitely recommend another trip back here.

Not your run-of-the-mill recipes but all good! This micro-brewery has unique setting as well with outdoor seating overlooking a coy pond. Great place to meet friends for a beer and good eats

Stopped in for a quick flight of brews. All four I chose were delicious. The bartender thought I missed the two best IPA"s and gave me a shot of each. LOL. He was right. Isomerizer and Big Barrel. Nice place. I will come back again.

Very surprising for being in the middle of an industrial park! Brunch is really inexpensive for the quality of food and choices. There is live music Also i believe this is the only one with koi pond and it is pretty and relaxing. Staff is very friendly cant wait to go back!

Coi Fish and Japanese pond were delightful! Service was stellar. Shrimp and grits=Yum. The bread pudding was okay. Could have been sweeter? Overall looooveed every minute here.

Came for brunch. Unlimited mimosas! This place has a good feel to it, the place is clean and the beer is good. The food is good but not super, selection is quite good and a lot to choose from. A Lot of parking spaces

Just amazing. The ambiance, the architecture, the coy pond. It can get really long in here, but if you are in a "high-energy" mood, is a great place to mingle and meet new people. The beers are fantastic and the tortilla soup!

Service is great, not all dishes served are up to my standardsI don't recommend their Schnitzel (breaded cutlets), they are dry and over fried. Sausages and saurkraut quites good. Bartenders make very good mixed drinks.

Beautiful brewery in the middle of Sorento valley. It is s bit hidden but if very popular. They have a great Japanese garden with as pond at the brewery. Very nice location
