Kathmandu Cuisine reviews
18We did not eat inside. Nice place. The food is good. Not super spicy, like some Indians food.
The only reason why I didn’t give 5 star is, the menu mentioned Thakali set and I was expecting similar thakali thali with black lentils, mustard green on the side and tomato chutney (optional pour over hot ghee on the top of the rice) that would have been an icing on the cake but so disappointed with so much salt on all the curries. I wish the restaurant would come up with some authentic Nepali food.
One of the best restaurants in the Bay Area. Authentic Nepalese Cuisine, fantastic service, good ambience, fresh tasty food.
Since we discovered this, this has been our gonto place for dinner when we are feeling really hungry. But last night visit was extra because we just had some demands and bless the young lady who served us, has been very accomodating and patient with us. Buff momo is my personal fave and i everyone should try
Ordered veg chili momo, veg Hakka noodle and Kathmandu chiya. Veg chilli momo and Kathmandu chiya were really good and I would highly recommend to try it. They were server hot and fresh. Although I haven’t tried steamed momo, it might be a better alternative if we want to avoid spicy chili momo. Hakka noodle could’ve been better and it was not hot when served as compared to momo. Staff were very courteous.
Love this place. Visited this place with friends n family on number of occasions. Food is amazing. Have nice big place for seating and parking is decent

Very good friendly service.
Was quite busy, had to wait even later at night.
Food didn't seem that special or great as the reviews indicate.
Ordered Veg hakka hoodles and chicken steamed momo. Veg hakka noodles was good however chicken steamed momo was the best ever momo I had ever eaten.
Very Good food. Lots of vegetarian options. Love the vege thupka soup. Husband had vege Thali. Was awesome. They have musical instruments and karaoke setup. My husband enjoyed singing there.
Absolutely disappointed. Ordered momos and goat choila. The food itself was good but momos was missing achar. Needs quality check when it comes to checking take out food orders!
Ordered a thali and chiya. It was decent overall. Great service, decent food. The Gulabjamun as dessert that came with Thali tasted better than most places that use (canned gulabjamun). And their system of ordering through qr code when dining in should be adopted by most restaurants (very convinient). Great experience overall. Keep it up.
The food here really hits the spot, a clean place with great ambiance and super friendly staff
So glad to see a Nepalese restaurant with Vegan friendly menu. We ordered tofu chilli, Hakka noodles and steamed impossible momo. Tofu chilli and noodles were finger licking. Impossible momos were alright. The staff was warm and welcoming and the ambience was lovely. They had a setup for live music too but not sure what days/hours they play. Overall we loved the experience and would definitely visit again.
Amazing Indo-Chinese Nepali style options. Loved it. Had been in search for some good fusion and finally found it. I highly recommend it! Sezuan Chicken and Chicken Lolipop!
An amazing restaurant with a mouthwatering tasty Nepali dishes. The Momos are succulent, flavorful with a special dipping sauce on the side - undoubtedly making them the best in town. The Sekuwa chicken was simply delicious and unique. The tea was a standout. A clean transparent glass with piping hot fragrant tea that brings back memories. The Hakka noodles was light and tasty cooked to perfection. The chilli momo added a crispy twist on the original momo with a spicy chilli sauce. The owners are a pleasure to interact with. The staff are polite, cheerful and the service is timely. The restaurant has a lovely welcoming ambience and an amazing decor with the walls filled with beautiful pictures. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to try out authentic Nepali food. A must visit restaurant in the Bay Area!
Really good Nepalese food! Good ambience:)
If you like Nepalese food, you should definitely try once!
A decent sized restaurant with good ambiance and friendly staff. They had wide variety of menu including info-Chinese food. Ordered a curry, impossible momos, and paneer sizzler. The chiutney tasted good. The sizzler was quite sweet and spicy mash that filled entire area when someone ordered.
The food tasted mediocre and the rice wasn’t cooked well. There is space for improvement.
