Kaweah Health Medical Clinic reviews
12Very friendly from checking in to seeing the doctor. Thank you for helping me with everything.
Ashley (M. A) seemed annoyed/judgemental when I addressed my concerns, she also made it clear by her facial expressions that she did not enjoy her job. Left uncomfortable, but glad Jessica (N. P) was able to help me out!
At every visit I’ve had over the years: Professional, Courteous, Efficient and Thorough all around.
They helped glue up my cut when I swore I needed stitches! They were so right! I was fine. Lol, the patient was wrong this time.
I was surprised when I saw the reviews! Every one there was pleasant to me. I'd go again.
Avoid this place! I’ve literally never felt so degraded and judged in my life! The medical assistant took my vitals and went out to the the physician to tell her what the issue was. (Note to the workers: we can hear you talking at your desks!) anyway. I just hear the physician groan and say “uuuuugh” … Well I’m so sorry that me coming in here and my pain is such an inconvenience to you! At that point I already wanted to leave. But no she comes in the room right away and the first question she asks is “are you taking drugs from Mexico? If you are that’s ok” I get it, it’s her job to ask questions like that but first of all there’s a better, less offensive way, to ask that. Second, you can at least work your way up to assuming I’m on some type of drugs. And of course she continued to carry on like she actually cared. What a joke! The only thing I left with is a bill from my insurance and embarrassment. Apparently this clinic can’t do anything about anything. Just don’t go to this place. It’s definitely better to waste hours waiting at the urgent care and actually be treated like a person than going to this place. All the workers look and act like they hate their jobs. Except for the lady at the front desk, she was super nice.
My sister has autism and is very hard to work with in medical settings. Everyone here was so helpful and understanding. We came in on a Thursday morning around 8 and were seen within 20 minutes and they were patient with my sister and very empathetic for me as the caretaker. I’m definitely coming here again!
My name is Deborah and my husband has gone twice to this location because he gets sinus infections yearly. Both times the nurse practitioner said it was viral and told him to get a particular nasal spray and take an antihistamine. She also suggested an immune boosting supplement. The 2nd time she said it was viral again and he had to demand a prescription for a soak. She never looked in his ears nose or mouth seeto see if anything was wrong she went by the symptoms he told her he was having. He is in his 2nd dose of the meds and is already starting to feel better. We won’t be coming back again. I don’t think our insurance should even pay this claim since my husband basically diagnosed himself. It seems that the nurse practitioner wasn’t even listening to what my husband was saying since she didn’t even bother to examine him. Your urgent care is a disgrace. I will also be filing a formal complaint with my insurance over the treatment or lack there of my husband received.
April really went to bat for me. She had time to research my symptoms and came up with an excellent plan for treatment.
My husband was super sick. They got him in early next morning, very little wait time, and the PA (April) was excellent! Staff was also courteous and considerate. Not sure why there is so many negative comments. Always had great care here.
I will never go to this place again. The general practitioner was so rude. Didn’t even look at my sinus problem. Also told me that I shouldn’t have come to urgent care, Her demeanor was unacceptable. I have never felt so uncomfortable in an urgent care clinic in my life! Actually 1 star in too much, but to post my review I had to put 1.
Horrible experience! My daughter went to the clinic because she is wheezing & needs an inhaler, she had asthma when she was younger & knows her symptoms! The Ben Maddox walk-in said they would not see her because of her symptoms (she was coughing/wheezing) & that she had to make an appointment! For tomorrow! I was shocked! You have a 20 year old who can’t breathe, is telling you that she does not have COVID & you make her an appointment for the next day! I’m sorry but unless you are a DR at the front reception you don’t have the medical experience to be “screening” patients! Then your a walk-in who turns away a patient! So they should go where? The ER? If I could give negative stars I would! This is not only bad service, it’s a total lack of compassion as a health care facility!
UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: I am actually shocked. I didn't call them, but they called me. They said my answers would be anonymous but let's be honest, I'd rather have everyone read it. So after I answered their questions I told them to go read my review.
UPDATE: I got a response, they want me to contact them so they can get details, why? So the staff can make excuses? The only mistake I made was coming here without looking at the reviews prior to " getting treatment" when I left I went to urgent care. The staff there was amazing, very attentive and understanding of the fact that I can barely talk my tonsils hurt so bad. Anyway, after the doctor seen my throat he was shocked on how bad they were, he gave me an antibiotic shot and a prescription for steroids to reduce the swelling. No need to call them it's obvious by the reviews the behavior of this facility has NOT improved!
This place is a joke! 1 star is too good for them. It's not a walk in clinic like they stated. I got there at 8am when it opened only to be told the next available appointment was 8: 45. I went for tonsillitis. It hurt so much to swallow. They made me go through the side door, because they were treating it like covid. 15 minutes later they opened the door and asked screening questions for covid. She asked me when was the last time I tested positive. I said for tonsillitis? She got snippy, no for covid. I explain I was there for tonsillitis. The nurse said the receptionist doesn't know how to screen. She took my vitals ALL came back fine. She made me take a covid test prior to looking at my throat. She took my cards and said she'll be back in 20 minutes. 45 minutes later I opened the door asked for my cards and left. This place is absolutely ridiculous! I will never waste my time again.
