Kayne Eras Center is a horrible place to work or send your child (ren)! Administration is horrible, from the director to the principal! The new school director has no experience in running a school at all, and the new principal doesn't do her job well at all. Payment is extremely low for the amount of work being done! And there's too many furlough unpaid days off! Staff aren't paid during summer breaks or during all of winter breaks either; And staff are threatened that they won't be paid their holiday pay if they don't come to work the day before or after a holiday. Student's get away with too much disrespect, and teacher's and TA's/AA's aren't truly valued at all! Staff have even been told, "If you don't like working here then leave. " No wonder why the turnover rate is so very high at this school! This school is honestly a mess. There's not a lot of things for the students to do at the school, don't let anyone fool you. The playground is in need of a major fixture, and academic wise, I feel that students could be challenged a bit more Parents, you should know that 6-11 year olds ride the same bus as 17-18 year olds! And even during the school day, during recess/break time 6-11 year olds are mingling around with 17-18 year old students.what kind of nonsense is that!
This isn't your typical school, and if you're looking for your child (ren) to have some of the same experiences as regular public/private schools, then don't expect to get it here. I would not recommend working at Kayne Eras Center or sending your child (ren) there. This NPS school is not on the same level as regular schools, your child (ren) will be missing out on much, and it's a horrible place to work, in my opinion. It's not a happy place to come to. Staff are great, but they're highly taken for granted. I hate writing such a negative review, but I felt the need to warn you! Potential parents and potential workers, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

Our school has changed significantly over the last 18 months. New Administration, new teachers, new focus, new passion. We have eliminated fighting, substance abuse, and over-all school discord by 99%. Thousands of hours and dollars have gone into creating a safe, beautiful environment that supports staff and students alike. We have created a hands-on learning environment that includes music, dance, cooking, theatre, sports, virtual-reality learning and individualized student programming. We are providing many field trips directly related to project-based learning. We are WASC accredited and have vocational as well as college education components. Please come visit. You will be impressed and see a truly remarkable school.

In my twenty years experience this is by far the best place I ever worked.the students are eager to learn and staff are great people. We work extremally well together and have a great learning environment for the kids. Numerous activities for the kids to do and interact with. This is not like other NPS's ware the kids are crammed into a room and checks cashed.

Seems things are going in the right way. For a reason. I feel confident and see a future more positive than ever. After customer service changed my mood in a flash after 4 real training sections one on one. As always good service and happy customers deserved a 5 starts but if do that the service may not be tbe same and i need her to continue i talking slowly and clear about next secions. Feeling great i love my instructor highly recommended. She deserves tbe 5 starts next time.

Alert to incoming new hires. Kayne Eras School incorporates "furlough days" that are NOT paid for in your salary. These reduce your annual income significantly. New hires are not usually employed during summer months. KE informs unemployment that you are secured a teaching position in the fall and this negates any application for unemployment benefits for summer months. You will be billed your summer months medical insurance payments.
